Then a lot of other nations should have had "colonies" as well. Small trade outposts and fully integrated provinces don't count as those, for our purposes.

What is nicest is that I have no schedule in reagards to NESing. I'm playing a low key nation in this game (Jomon/Japan)and that's all. I get to spend my free time mulling over game ideas and making rules notes, reading books and watching movies. No sword of Damacles anywhere in sight.
