I meant a REAL socialist system. Where the centralized government tells me which factory I'm going to.

In those countries I could just stay at the university until I was 30 :P

Difference in meaning between Americans and Europeans, noticed this several times:

For US-Americans Socialism=Communism.

For Europeans Socialism is a more co-operative way of government between worker's representatives, representatives of the economy and the government.

Social democracy is better understood.

I think I once read, that Stalin said, "the worst enemy of communism is socialism". Interpret it yourself.
 
Well I did point to the hugely succesful French and German forms of socialism, did I not?

Greadius, there's always Cuba. Or N. Korea.
