Does saying you're going to curse someone/send a spirit to haunt them constitute a threat, considering there's no scientific evidence in favor of either? :mischief:

Criminally, I am not certain.
Civilly, if they believe it to be a true and causes damages, I would definitely say so.

He's seen Shek on the other side of the street and he knows what he wants...

I've got to say, those Welsh women look very flexible. :goodjob:

how do you answer this:
A man is 2 m tall. He treads bare-foot on a drawing pin. Nervous impulses travel from his foot to his brain via fast and slow nerve paths. In the fast paths the impulse velocity is 200 metres per second, in the slow paths it is 50 m/s.
Qu. 1: What is the time gap in milliseconds between the arrival of the two sets of impulses at the brain?

The 400 seats in a parliament are divided amongst five political parties. No two parties have the same number of seats, and each has at least 20.
Qu. 1: What is the largest number of seats that the third largest party can have?
22
118
119
120
121

This one is even harder :(

oh and I got my last one, it was 30 milliseconds.

400-40 = 360

119. Why's that? The largest party, at max, would have 121, the second-largest 120, and the third 119, because 121 + 120 + 119 = 360. :)

Tanicious, 118, the two smallest have 20 and 21 (no two have same number of seats).

Surely it would be 400-41=359, because no 2 parties have the same number of seats and have to have at least 20 seats, so party 4 would have to have a minimum of 21 seats and party 5 20?

This would make the answer 118.

Although don't quote me on this, my maths is terrible.

EDIT: Crosspost with say1988 ;)

Curses! I made one small error and was off by one...

Ah well, that's how math is... you often are wrong by the slightest margin...

that is what I did too!, but it was wrong.
Oh this is for an entrance exam to Medical school in the UK :)

Depends on their reaction, it is a special case but you could probably be held both criminally and civally liable. Whether anyone would bother to prosecute is a whole different matter.

How do you leave the underlined line in Microsoft Word 2003 without adding something to keep it there?

Underscores_______________work.

Or if you have text after it on the same line, underlined spaces work for 2007, it may transfer to 2003.

Lastly, if you want to get really tricky, you could create a table with just one line visible.

Thanks.
It was much easier when I had 07 though. Thanks though.
On an unrelated note, why is that the majority of property tax goes to fund education? Is it because it is up to the state to provide a free public school system and the quality will vary because of the demographic in which the taxing occurs, or for something else?

How come Disney is considered Satan on Earth?

I imagine it's probably the spam of 3D movies and live action series these days, but nobody can really doubt the quality of the 2D animated Classics such as the Lion King.
