About what percentage of Canadians live in the blue area? Is it really 90% or the more realistic sounding 75% I've been hearing lately?

Well over half the population is located just in that area between Quebec City and Windsor. Throw in BC's Lower Mainland and you easily surpass two thirds. So no, close to 90% wouldn't surprise me, though I would probable guess that it is likely in the 75-85% range.
The only major cities I can think of excluded are Calgary and Halifax, maybe Saskatoon if you consider it major.

How come Disney is considered Satan on Earth?

I imagine it's probably the spam of 3D movies and live action series these days, but nobody can really doubt the quality of the 2D animated Classics such as the Lion King.

Some people dislike the company for what it does today ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_The_Walt_Disney_Company ), some dislike Walt Disney for beliefs he supposedly held ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood's_dark_prince and http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/1623/was-walt-disney-a-fascist ).

For one thing, they market young girls as sex objects.

I hate the fans of High School Musical and Hannah Montana. The hate just spills over to Disney itself.

Kind of like how I hate Twilight fans and Stephanie Meyer for creating it, or Tokio Hotel fans and Tokio Hotel

And yet i don't mind them as so many girls are in to twilight i even read a copy (it was utter drivel) it goes down well for a certain type of girl.

Ah. So it's akin to how so many feel about Poland because of Poland fans. :mischief:

I would agree Disney's quality would improve if they stopped being Lifetime Lite, yes.

Ah, thanks for providing a very detached(that's a complement) answer. :)

I for one think it's silly to dislike a person's achievements just because of their personal qualities... I for one like to praise Henry Ford's achievements in terms of business models, and yet someone always sticks their head up about the whole anti-Semite thing...:shake:

Supposedly despite our mild winters I am further north (at 53N) than most Canadians.

Considerably. Just like I am considerably south of Vancouver, which has some of the mildest winters in Canada, heck I live at approximately the same latitude as Marseilles (though I am farther south than most Canadians). It is due to Ocean currents.
The warm Gulf Stream helps regular the temperature in Europe, Especially the West, with the prevailing winds blowing its warmth over Britain and the continent. On the other hand, I live over 3000km from the Pacific (with prevailing westerlies) and the only significant bodies of water around are the Great Lakes.

So do Yanks and southerners dip there chips (french fries) into milkshakes when they are eating fast food? I saw it on prison break.

Stokholm is at 59.21N
Moscow 55.45N
Vladivostok 43.8N
Vancouver 45.15N
Christchurch NZ 43.3S
Tierra Del Fuego 53S

Some people do. I personally view it as disgusting.

Hah! Fry sauce. Oh Americans and their funny nomenclature.

Its called Marie Rose sauce over here. I'm pretty sure its the same as your Utah variant. Two parts mayonaisse one part ketchup right? When we're sober we eat with prawns and when we're drunk we eat it on takeaway burgers.

When you're sober you eat in on prawns?

What I'm getting from this is:
a) This sauce sounds terrible
b)only a drunk person would ever ever eat it
c)ergo all Irish are drunk all the time
d)HOWEVER: you must have bloody good takeaways if they serve bloody prawns

Mayonaise does not belong on fries.

Either ketchup or tartar sauce.

Unless we want to go further and add cheese sauce, gravy, chili etc...

Nothing beats a bit of garlic mayo on chips after a night out, or garlic mayo on anything after a night out really. Your mouth feels like death the next day though.

Lets talk about when your sober and can actually taste stuff.

Garlic mayo is great on a lot of stuff (anything that mayo can go on, essentially), though.
