I'm going there at the end of the month for a few days and I'm worried the culture clash might be too much. Do they have a depressing reliance on alcohol abuse too?
My mom asked me to ask this question: A few years ago, we had this radio station from PEI she used to listen to, it was an AM radio. But over the past 5 years or so, the signal has gotten worse and worse and now we can't get it at all. What happened? (The radio station is still around, as one of our neighbors has a high-power radio and can still get it.)

Wales is a lovely place. There is no culture, so there won't be any clash. It has (mostly) friendly people, and nice scenery. I've not been to the big city (/ies) but the rest of it's a perfect place to visit for a few days.Has anyone here ever been to Wales? Specifically South Wales. Should I be worried?

www.pubmed.comAre there any published brain scan reports on people who are allegedly psychic that indicate whether or not their brain activity (eg, either the whole brain or different spots in the brain) is different from other people?
If so, where can I find those?
When you're drunk you sleep deeply, half-way to mere unconsciousness. So if he typically gets nightmares, it's because he's depressed or has just had a harrowing experience.a friend told me that when he goes to bed.. and if he's not in a state of somewhat drunkenness .. he gets nightmares!! why's that?

Seems theres no culture clash anyways. Looks just like home.
Goth not necessarily. Also depends on what kind of clothes we're talking about. Tight-fitting black jeans? Emo or goth. Loose black pants? Neither.
Id say 70% of my wardrobe is black or similarly dark colors, but I am far from what you would call goth or emo. I am built fairly large (read: fairly large, not fat) and darker clothes tend to disguise my size a little. That and darker clothes just look plain better. I dont need to walk around looking like a rainbow.
Why do Sweden and Switzerland have such similar spellings in relation to each other in Portuguese and Spanish?
