I thought correalation :/ cauation.

I went back to the store and managed to find exchange in the bottom of the binful. BUT WHY WAS THAT WOMAN PAYING FOR YOGURT IN THE ELECTRONICS CHECKOUT!!!!

Well, considering that it's Walmart and it's all just one big store, does it really matter which checkout they pay at?

Wait so you just started smoking ciggs or did you start smoking a while ago ?

Also with the health impact it's a bit of an odd question. If you ask any clean lunged freak he'd prolly say that it's noticeable from the first cigg. Healthiest guy i know smokes 2 packs a day. The unhealthiest people i know are non-smokers,non-drinkers,half vegetarians.

I started a little over a week ago. I'm planning on stopping in a few weeks from now. Maybe.

Wait, then why did you get to half a pack so soon ? I started smoking half a pack per day in 6 months after starting to smoke, and none of my friends did that. Acording to them it takes about a year to reach the 1/2 a pack per day milestone.

Doing what you did is of course dangerous - like with all drugs you don't start with the addict's dose, you dont drink 10 beers first time you discover alcohol, you dont smoke a whole spliff alone at first etc. :)

I've started smoking half a pack of cigarettes a day for the past week now. How long before I begin to have noticeable health impact?

Very shortly, seeing as in another week your "oh, I'm just doing it cos I can afoord to, I'm gonna give up in like six months" will transform into "it's 1am, and I have no cigarettes. Therefore, i'm going to smoke the butts I have already smoked"

Question: At our school, why did the special education department get a Wii?

(I'm in special education, actually, and they gave me a go at it. I found it too easy. Far too easy. And the graphics I could find in any budget game.)

They're probably trying different ways to engage students that don't respond well to traditional methods.

Cos while the spec-ed kids are busy battering and buggering each other with the wiimote, the rest of the school can learn.

I dunno it happened really fast. Was at the bar bummed a smoke off my friend just because. And then we had another one right afterwards. Then another one before bed.
Then next morning had one when I woke up, then before I took a shower, then after I took a shower, then one before lunch, one after lunch, etc.... then I bought my own pack officially for myself and stopped bumming. And now I'm going to have another one before dinner, and then after dinner, and then have some with beer.

But I'll surely stop once break is over. Surely.

Thanks.

New question:

I read somewhere that carbon dioxide levels have been slowly declining over the course of Earth's history, and that eventually, C02 levels will be too low for life/plants to survive in the distant future, despite fluctuations in the short term. Is this true?

Nope.

There's a certain.. equilibrium between aerobic and anaerobic life forms according to whatever else independent conditions, I guess.

The processing of calories. A "calorie" is a unit of measure, defined as the amount of energy required to heat 1 gram of water by 1 degree C.

Heat circulates through the body primarily through the blood stream.

Keep in mind that a calorie is not the same thing as a Calorie. When capitalized, it refers not to the unit of heat you described, but to a dietary calorie. A dietary calorie is the equivalent of a kilocalorie, the amount of energy needed to heat a kilogram of water by one degree C.

The heat is of course released when the food is metabolized (which is essentially combustion, but catalyzed through enzymes rather than needing to be raised to a temperature where the fuel bursts into flames), mostly in the mitochondria. Obviously some of the energy goes to work instead of heat.

Thanks.

Don't you mean the opposite? O2 levels are declining. Edit: E.g. growing dead-zones in the water.
