So who else hates Styrofoam? Somehow I was under the impression for the longest time that I was in a very small minority of people whom it creeps out (shivers down your spine, hair standing on end) kinda the way people say of nails on chalkboards (doesn't really bother me) or whatever. But now everyone I've asked says the same thing, so apparently it's a common reaction from people?

What do you feel when you imagine a lunch tray, or fast food drinking container...scraping it along a composite countertop...the kids in school who used to puncture and pick apart the styrofoam with their plastic forks...all the big chunks of styrofoam now tossed together in a bag of trash...help me out here?

I don't think I ever said it was creepy or scary, just extremely annoying, the feel if you stick a nail into it or touch your teeth to it, ugh, making me shudder just thinking about it. That and the infernal squeaking!

I do! I usually run when people are opening a package or whatever. It's hard to describe the feeling.

I'm looking for a good book on the history of the middle east conflict. Suggestions?

If I put my laptop in the microwave, will it blow up like in the mozy commercial?

Can anyone tell me how to make histograms in Open Office? For some reason I can't find the option.

nb4 omg use google.

You always have to be a smartass Mr. ICBM.;)

I think my Google is defective.

My baby toenails keep ripping off. How can I stop it? (Wearing socks just makes it worse.)

Keep them trimmed very short and have no rough edges.

Why were there 2 Hulk movies in so short a span of time? One in 2003 and one in 2008. What was the purpose of that? I saw the 2003 one (with Eric Bana), but I missed the 2008 one. I thought the 2003 one was perfectly fine, but not great.

Because the first one sucked so bad they wanted to pretend it never happened. :)

Thanks.

Question: In my province, there are roads which my mom calls the "old highways." On Google Maps they're the yellow ones, it's just a really wide road (no dividers like highway). Is there a proper name for these? E.G. like "side streets"

I tried googling "old highway" with no luck and I'm not sure what term to use now.

Also it's not an arterial road, I looked that up.

EDIT: Almost like this, although I don't recognize the area
