You can track packages, mang. In my experience the package tracker overestimates by a day fwiw.
In the US often 2 or 3 days (excluding sunday). But you can pick different shipping options if time or cost are more important to you. There's some variability if the item is not immediately available. But Amazon doesn't have that problem a lot. And if you chose UPS shipping to an apartment address, you have to be home in the middle of the day or they won't leave it.
What about this part of the world (Britain)?
They say 3 to 5 business days for the free shipping option, but I've gotten mine in less than two. I'm in Canada, though. Distance travelled is roughly comparable to Edinburgh-London. YMMV.

Start with a concept for the paper. And then research. The bigger the paper, the more research you need. (Unless it's creative writing, in which case just have at it and don't stop.) You need enough content so that there's no filler. So you start by developing enough content to cover the size you're expected to turn in.

Depends on who you're buying from , what postal options you choose, had to wait 2 weeks for a really obsure 2nd hand book. Usually it's 2-3 days. Sometimes I've been able to track my parcel, " it's in the delivery van" they told me once, sure enough it arrived within an hour !

Fall would be the natural mating season for humans right? I think I heard that once and that ancient societies had all kinds of festivals on the equinox or something to knock everyone up so all the kids were born at the same time mostly. I guess it makes sense, the kids would be born into summer with more food available for the necessary development and would be big and strong enough then to survive winter.
