I remember there was this internet comedy service where you could do hilarious things to whatever website you liked. I remember having loads of fun with it a few years ago, but I forget what it is.

What was it?

bored.com

:D
I couldn't find it there. One of the things the site i'm talking about did was make the highlighted web page look like it had mold growing on it.

If I rent a video at a store, I get home, it doesn't work, I download the movie on the Internet, watch it once with, say, my girlfriend (so not publicly), and then delete the downloaded file and tomorrow return the DVD, without requesting money back or anything like that, is it considered piracy?

I'd say that would depend upon the country you're in. But in any country where downloads are considered piracy, yep, it would still count.

Do you know of some place where I can read about the various laws of different countries in this matter? :) I'm genuinely curious to know more about this.

No, I wouldn't have a clue. I don't even know Australia's laws on piracy, because I really don't care what my idiot government thinks. I imagine Wikipedia might have a brief outline if you looked up 'piracy.'

Well a year or several ago bored.com had things like nuking part of the screen, erasing some of it, making ants crawl over it, etc. etc.

So I thought that it might be it.

I looked harder, and It does have a website destruction feature. But... it just wasn't the same as the one I saw. The one I saw had a red menu bar, not a black one.

A little screw in my glasses just fell out and my glasses came apart. I won't be able to get them fixed until tomorrow (under warranty, yay!). Any ideas until then?

Disconnect your internet? Would be an awful strain on your eyes to read things on your computer without your glasses, best not to tempt yourself.

Well, I sort of can if I squint and lean forward (or increase the font size). Can't play any games, though.

Edit: Oh, and I'm nearsighted. And fairly good at touch-typing, before you ask.

Another edit: Does anybody else touch-type with only a few fingers? I normally use 2-3.

Take a needle and thread and sew them together. May need a small needle, or you could use a needle threader if you have one.

Can't you put the screw back?

If you have lost the screw, a small piece of paper clip will work for a while.

Why in god's name did Fonzie have his office in a men's bathroom? Isn't that like the worst place to spend a large amount of time in, even if you ignored the smell? There are plenty of germs in there.

It was the 50s. Different standards for different times.
