I hate the Steelers because they are arrogant and because of Rapistberger. Wow, I didn't realize how great it is to let it out.

You know what? I hate 'em too. I don't even like the Ohio professional teams, but growing up in bengals/browns territory, the one thing that bonded the state together was a hatred of all things black and gold.
Hines Ward is a thug, and Big Ben is a rapist (and prob rasist too!). Lets go Jets.

Except the Super Bowl part, that could pretty much describe my feelings for them.
Honestly, I don't like them much either, but I couldn't stand most of the AFC playoff teams so I've kind of defaulted to the Steelers until the Super Bowl. Refused to root for the Cheatriots or Fratboys, and since I live in the DC area I dislike the Murderers a lot more than I dislike the Rapists. But in general, they're not very high on my list.

I don't have a "Burning Rage" against anyone, and I only hate the Jets and Pats.
That said, Steelers are on my list of "Teams I don't like." As are nearly every sports team with tons of Bandwagon fans (The Yankees are an exception since my entire family likes the Yankees and Baseball is a girl's sport anyway.)
Nothing wrong with the Steelers, always have and will be a solid team and solid fanbase. I've never come across many bandwagoners for them, usually just some good and loyal fans without the patheticness of the same sort of traditional fans of far more losing teams like the Browns or Detroit Lions. And they're better than Philly.

No one really cares about hockey.

Also The Pirates are a cool team. Honus Wagner is one of my all-time favorite baseball players. It's just a shame they, as you said, haven't been relevant since the 1990s. Maybe they'll have a Curse of the Bonds or something, since the year before they sold Bonds up the river, they came within inches of winning the WS.

The Penguins also have a huge following, especially when football seaason ends.
Nobody cares about the pirates
Pitt college sports are fairly popular. None of the area's other colleges get too much attention with their sports teams (Duquesne, Robert Morris, CMU)
Pittsburgh doesnt have an NBA team.
Pittsburgh has other teams (arena football, minor league soccer) but noone cares about them

I think we used to, but now all the mines are in west virginia.
Now everyone's saying that theres a lot of natural gas beneath the pittsburgh area so people are drilling for that.
I tend to laugh at any team that wears yellow and calls it gold. At least the Rams and Penguins had the good sense to change it.
Hate the team and the fans, as i hate pretty much every team and fan base west of Vermont. Maybe a little more, but only because they've been successful lately. Gives you more reason to hate 'em.
I will admit, they show up. I respect a town that supports the team, and if the first site i clicked on is correct, they have the 2nd longest sellout streak in the league. Makes it that much better to beat them when the place is packed. More people crying into their terrible towels.

I agree the Steelers suck (Wasn't Ben acquitted of rape though?) but the Jets suck even worse (Then again, as a Miami Fan I am biased.) So I'm happy the Steelers won, and hope they lose in the Superbowl.
