just one question: does a large number of available units to build lag the game? say for example if i make a few different types of infantry for each kingdom (Wei foot soldier, wu foot soldier, yuan shao soldier)

The game this is based on is actually really good. I'd recommend it to anyone with a PS2.

which game?

Though I have played ROTKVII and ROTKVIII, This is based off the books themselves, though a much better version I am hoping to make at a later date.

This better not be based on Dynasty Warriors...

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms game series is excellent, ROTK 10 is the best of them all.

Anyways, if you need more information or pictures and such, I recommend http://kongming.net.

EDIT: Just got to play it last night. It's really good, I've been looking for a good ROTK scenario for a long time. Keep up the good work!

I've never seen Wu smaller than Shu before in either the Koei game or a scenario.

This is based of the books, not some game.

Do you have Generals from the books as special leaders? Like Guan Yu or Lu Bu or Zhou Yu (game spelling). I've started the book, and in fact you can read it online. It's just toooooooooooooooooooooo long.

I'll definitely try this and thanks for making.

If you really get into it, it's not too long. the beginning may seem a bit dry, but you know what they say, don't judge a book by the first few pages you read.

A few problems with the non-Chinese nations- there aren't any!
The Nanman, although present, are simply Barbarians- they would have been better as a non-player civ. And you could really have added Vietnanese, Mongol and Japanese nations, although the Mongols and Japanese would, at the time, be the Hziung-Nu and Wo. You could also have added at least barabarians in the North-West, to represent the rebels in Lo-Yang that Cao Cao fought fought fot control of the region.

Well, they didn't take a major part, but they still existed. It would just make the whole thing more colorful. And the presence of the Hsiung-Nu and Hsien-Pi would make the Wei player think twice before commiting all his resources to the southern front.
Note: I got mixed up before- Lo-Yang is not where the rebels where, it was the imperial capital. I meant Lop Nor.
Vietnam would, by the Chinese, be called 'Yueh' and you could also add the Hsien-Pi in Manchuria.
