The "Always Late" One
Since no one else has something to say, I've re-read every comment, considered some new possibilities, and looked into the plans for the government-paid aqueducts ((free aqueducts)) ((but be warned that we need two policies for the finisher, and that's 34 turns for one, and even more than 34 for the next one)). We hang in the balance of happiness, we can't grow too fast as of right now, and we need research that can support us in changing to a more cultured style it seems. All the happiness that we can get, in my view, should be to get Apollonia up and running, so it can be self sufficient and produce for the Kingdom.
Considering everything, and as your chief minister, I'm proposing this as our nations course of action:
> Khirra to build a workshop;
> Dostana to build a Colosseum, then a Library
> Delphi to build a Colosseum
> Buying the workboat on Apollonia, and switch to a lighthouse, and I want to consider buying fish tiles once we're ready for more growth ((the city won't take those fishing tiles fast because they're third tier, we might have to buy them to get the city growing faster)).
> Research Drama, then Poetry, and only then Guilds. I will allow this since we're already running a decent profit, and we should be able to keep up without Guilds. In case of need, we have markets that can be built. I am sorry for those wishing for more gold-savy technology, but it will come not too long after.
((Re-optimize the population as you see fit, I understand this messes your whole system Melda, but at least Apollonia should be checked every growth.
Actually, that's something I haven't done because I'm not an Emperor/Deity player, but every city growth should be checked. I got that from finishing last night the Viking Scenario as the defender, in Deity, after two tries. My very first Deity game, and let me say, what the freaking hell.
Also, this should do it for you to play at least 5 turns I believe. You are the master in the end, so if you want to take some decisions, feel free to do so.))
