RIOTS ROCK THE AMERICAN UNION. Chicago, American Union. AU authorities, citing the Imperial threat in Indiana, declared an official state of emergency and ordered a draft. Anti-communist propaganda being circulated within Illinois is portraying the Red Guards as little better than their namesake. Video and pictures of the willful destruction of highways to the east, and the news of the draft has caused an uproar among certain elements of AU-society. Eighty-four are dead following the largest riot, which occurred over four days in Chicago. Argent Dawn operatives throughout the American Union have begun marching in support of American annexation. The marches have been met with a combination of support and violence by pro-American elements of the American Union and Red Guard and Augustinian elements respectively.


FORT WAYNE FALLS TO AMERICAN FORCES. Washington D.C., United States of America. American forces dug in along the new border with the American Union. Instead of pushing straight on Chicago like many expected, American forces shelled and bombed Fort Wayne for weeks before moving in with regular forces, which took the city after a few days of fighting and the surrender of the Red Army forces garrisoned in the city.


STALEMATE? Aside from fighting in Fort Wayne and border skirmishes, it would seem that the major belligerents in the war have taken up a policy of building up for the next big clash. In the West, Imperial rule continues to crumble as warlords and revolutionaries take control for themselves and establish new governments, such as the Free State of Wyoming. The lack of Imperial response (and indeed, its inability to respond), is emboldening more and more people in the west to throw off Imperial rule, but to replace it with what? That is the question.


VOTING TO BEGIN THIS WINTER IN NEVADA: Las Vegas, Republic of Las Vegas and Reno. The long-awaited elections in Nevada will come to a head this year, and nobody knows how the chips will fall. The Casino Owners have taken a pounding in recent months in the polls, while the Gamblers Union and Dealers have remained solid.

The United States has the Reunification CB on everything. Reunification means full annexation.

Absolute Monarchies, Constitutional Monarchy, and Prussian Constitutional government players have one additional advantage. If the ruling faction changes, the players remains in charge (since they’re a sovereign above the faction system). In all other governments, a change of the ruling faction means a change of player. NPC parties than win elections or take power will run the government.
