TM 01 - The alphabet games - America

I haven't installed the autologger yet because I have heard there is trouble after 1.61. I will try to get it working before my next turnset - if we haven't won by then :)

Turns spent roading and doing what little improvement could be done to our new territories. In our heartland balanced builds between infrastructure, military and religion spread. Took Sal's last two northern cities. I totally forgot about that stupid city in the south until I saw he didn't go to 0 after taking Kushans. Revolting to Nationalism on the first turn of the set took care of war weariness. Signed a peace deal with Sal and sent the veterans south to take out Monty. We might consider staying in Nationalism until we're done conquering and switching to Free Speech for the culture spread.

Religion is getting very hard to spread, so we might want to break down and trade for sci method. Although we will lose the Great Library, we can pick up Communism for State Property. I don't think we particularly need to be worried about a massive tech lead at this point, just need to get to industrialism and mop up (detour to Communism for State Prop).

I did not notice that. Sounds like bad news for Qin! :lol: We might want to build up for a couple of turnsets and get Assembly Line and maybe even Artillery.

One thing I forgot in the report, there is a Great Prophet in Washington. I actually think tha the best thing we can do with him is use him for a Golden Age, but only if we get a Great Artist or Great Scientist next. Great Merchant we should use for Corporation (I think) and Great Engineer for a World Wonder.

Also, I tried to MM the cities to get some of our cottages developed. This will be a good idea moving forward for teching purposes.
 
Bah i hate the trading algorithem at CIV... the AI will agree to tech trade only if he is the absoulute "winner" of the deal. he will never agree for an even trade.

Summery: Declared war on Aztec on turn 1. they are currently reduced to 1CC. Since China was in defensive pact they immediately declared on us.
except for a blunder that almost cost us a city in turn 291 we were successful in most of the battles and the forces that was lost were usually against the odds

My suggestion is to eliminate the Aztecs, continue the fight with China (they do not have a lot of forces) and maybe take Saladin's last city.

We now control 45% of the land and it is increasing rapidly.

Very good job mate! I can see that you're experianced warmonger, cus I usually wait till I get a much larger force to attack.
