In my opinion, no one has really given an honest answer. Let me put it this way: if God appeared to you, and you could be certain that it was Him, and He explained to you exactly why Christianity was correct, and exactly why it would be in your benefit to be Christian, and He cleared up any doubts you had, and made it clear that you had misunderstood Him and He was not morally inferior to you, could you come up with a single valid argument for not becoming Christian?
So, what you're saying is, if he convinced me to become a Christian, would I be convinced that I should become a Christian? Logic demands that the only meaningful answer to this would be yes, so that question is rather meaningless.
I doubt the Christian God would take so great pains to clear up such misunderstandings, at least judging by the level of information flowing from him at the moment(Ie: Nil for at least 2000 years).
