I certainly respect your viewpoint. Laws are passed to protect our civilization and sustain a level of regularity that people can depend on. It would be chaotic if every law is challenged and no one followed them.
That said, I do have to point out that if everyone follows the law all the time, we as a society will not be able to progress and we leave opportunity for tyrants to take control of our government.
If African Americans did not break laws, it is doubtful the civil rights movement would have gained any momentum. If our forefathers did not break laws, our country would have never gained independence. I think many of our founding fathers would agree that citizens should rebel against unjust and unfair laws. Thomas Jefferson justified our rebellion through John Locke's philosophy that men are given certain inalienable rights and it is our responsibility to revolt if the government infringes upon those rights.
