Operation Market Garden was a British operation. US troops in the south under Patton stewed because their badly needed supplies were diverted to Monty.

I stand corrected
that army with tanks that was intended to cross all the three bridges was the British XXX Corps

once Americans acquired a bunch of Russian flares . Highly shocking to discover Aim-9M , the best at the time loved to go for the flare . Should have made a search but ı think it involved a somewhat crude way of maximum power , while Western ones would try to distract in multiple wavelengths and so on . A thing to remember would be that Russians always expect a war against superior tech and superior radars , meaning they might have to fly and penetrate at low level (despite not really exercising on it) and their flares would end up directly on the ground if they were to be launched from the bottom .

In 1948 Milton Friedman called for a monetary system in which banks could only directly lend reserves, and all money creation was to be done by government deficits, and not “financed” by bonds.

I'm not sure how many people can actually understand the difference between the above. Probably few.

Today I learned about some interesting 'natural horror movies,' including lava-breathing tarantulas and genetically-engineered killer sheep.

Today I learned about this site which generates lyrics using artifical intelligence.

Spoiler I'm so sorry :
Verse 1
The river you like still diarrhea, diarrhea wide
You were whistle whipping at the heat
You were breaking off just to release, oh
Our time diarrhea out

Pre-Chorus
I need your love to still me
As sure as night diarrhea

Chorus
No one else does anything
No one else diarrhea in the door
No one else does anything
When she diarrhea away, when she diarrhea away

Verse 2
We got a ride that never stops
We got a promise that never ends
I got a drink that never diarrhea
Oh every holiday

Pre-Chorus
My head diarrhea down like the rain
Where will I be and what will I do here

Chorus
No one else does anything
No one else diarrhea in the door
No one else does anything
When she diarrhea away, when she diarrhea away

Bridge
When my big nose diarrhea between your two lips
I just remember that I still want some more

Chorus
No one else does anything
No one else diarrhea in the door
No one else does anything
When she diarrhea away, when she diarrhea away

I think they made one of the chapters in Atlanta Nights that way.

I also got...uh, this.

Spoiler :
Verse 1
So with the world at my feet and the money up front
Like a son I put flatulence in the tank
Had a little bit, but damn it man I want more
Gimme more flatulence gimme more flatulence

Pre-Chorus
A few years later when I was eighteen
The flatulence was on the curb and both my hands were wild

Chorus
No more flatulence, no more time
No more flatulence, no more flatulence
The weight of memory
Carries me around like flatulence

Verse 2
Throw my head back and hit the road
Everybody coming down the boulevard
Better hit the flatulence and get away
Flatulence talk with flatulence in my pocket

Pre-Chorus
Climbing ever higher
Denying all eyes of rum

Chorus
No more flatulence, no more time
No more flatulence, no more flatulence
The weight of memory
Carries me around like flatulence

Bridge
Four thousand faces, screaming for the prize
Feeling the heat, looking for a little whip

Chorus
No more flatulence, no more time
No more flatulence, no more flatulence
The weight of memory
Carries me around like flatulence

Putting various bodily emissions into that site is probably a little immature, but funny as hell.

Sounds like vintage Spinal Tap lyrics, not long after their Flower People phase.

Today I was looking at Google Maps and noticed Ghana has a huge lake, called Lake Volta.

I then learned it's one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the world (#1 by surface area, #3 by volume) and takes up 3.6% of the entire land area of Ghana. It's nearly 13 times bigger than Lake Mead. The hydroelectric plant at the dam, the Akosombo Dam, supplies most of the electricity demand of Ghana, Togo, and Benin. 80,000+ people were displaced when they flooded the area that now constitutes the reservoir, with most winding up in really sucky resettlement villages.

Why would I mean that? Speaking a language by not speaking it?? This makes no sense.
I see that you are unfamiliar with Finnish culture.

I'm still having too much fun with this thing.
