Tom Petty shows students something that gets him in trouble.

I'm from the Bible Belt and we often have the polling stations in churches, not sure if that violates anything. It's just that there are so many of them all over the place it was most convenient I think.

We do that in the Midwest too. So long as there's no political advertisement within a 100 feet of the polling station, it's legal.

Back to topic: yes, I think that Petty shouldn't have brought the kids in as it does put pressure on the voters. But no, he should not be punished for it. That's a gross overreaction.

I find it funny how some of them seem to think Petty is the teacher when it states clearly he's the poll inspector.

Heres another thing: Mr. Petty said he didn't live in the area. Do you think poll inspectors should live outside the area to prevent any manipulation of the votings?
