Tonks: Tigers, Armatas, T-72 Alphabets

There are also the ww1 and ww2 transformers who were morphing into tanks so as to help their favorite side.

Though I suppose this particular one was an airplane?

Here is one who was a tank:

tumblr very rarely offers names . The one above is probably Vickers tractor something . Might be Korean guns captured in 1870 and no name for the "water stallion cart" either .

a definite improvement then .

as usual , ı went for searching what ı myself said . As usual the inventors of the specific notion are Russians . Not the SPG thing , because the first one was British from WW I .

russians as usual went for gigantic versions . Naturally had to use machine translation ... Su-7 carried up to 305mm barrels , partly to use old ammunition from the Great War . Su-14 was a general all-rounder . Might have entered service even , but Stalin had the designers shot during the Purges , you know , for some reason ... At the Finnish debacle period they took one of the prototypes , uparmoured it with up to 50mm , increasing the weight from 48 to 65 tons or so . Apparently didn't make it to the front before the Ceasefire . Might have had fought for Moscow in '41 ... And they are only known today because some tank game has them ...No useful pictures otherwise ...

and as an addition to the post above , apparently Ferdinand / Elephant had it better than the Tiger ... They could replace a "wheel" or something in 3 to 4 hours , while it would be some 1-3 days job on Tiger ... Can't exactly tell what . Machine translation into Turkish is troublesome as it appears .

and the whole White Tiger in Real Life thing .
Soviet Oka 2B1 mortar capable of firing nuclear charges. It was produced in 1957 as a response to the U.S. development of the same weapon in 1953. And the U.S. did fire one actual nuclear weapon.

The expression of Soviet nuke measuring contest. They always had to have something bigger than USA, even if it was terribly impractical.

US mortar had smaller caliber, but not sure it had more practical use. Anyway rockets obsolete them quick.
The second photo reminded me Red Alert Game

Unlike Oka, it didn't damage itself during firing. That alone made it more practical. Anyway both sided quickly replaced them with nuclear shells for their regular artillery and rockets.

Red Alert is a bit inaccurate. The image was used as icon for Chinese Nuke Cannon in CnC Generals.

thank you , ı have no need for tactical nuclear weapons .

currently quite happy with American 175 and rocket assist/base bleed .

this thread actually started as a further avenue for superiority of everything Western over enemies and competitors ; the thread gets livelier if they sense anything that might challenge that worldview for REAL .

have been trying hard in order not to be provoked , considering the AI assisted attack on senses , but this is an unpardonable crime against ERICH Kartmann .
