TSA's lack of focus on young Arab men keeps middle aged non-Arab man off of plane

Close. Background check and more likely then not, check gun under the plane and continue on your flight.

EDIT: and maybe "enjoy your flight"

They will not check guns unless they are in locked cases. If you try to take them past security onto the plane then you're going to be arrested, much less be allowed onto the flight. It doesn't matter if they're loaded or not.

... you would be surprised. ...

According to this report, he had one on his person and 3 more in his carry-on bags.

Harold Waller Arrested With 4 Loaded Guns Inside Sacramento International Airport

What I object to is the liberal media questioning his intent:

With an arsenal of weapons between the loaded handgun he was carrying, three guns in his carry-on, and an additional eight more in his car, one might begin to ponder: What exactly was Harold Waller intent on doing with all of those guns?

Haven't they ever heard of the Second Amendment? Does this look like the sort of man who would do anything weird?

Erm, yes, the image has 'mug-shot' as the last end of the .jpg name so clearly it is. The man might befriend strange people, he might even be a Red!

I don't see what the problem here is. He deserved to be arrested for his unlawful possession, and sure enough he was.

The government did right this time. If he WASN'T arrested, then there would be a double standard. But there isn't.

Its not a double standard, Oldschooler, you arrest Arabs for not having guns and not arrest white people for having guns. Works like a charm.

I can tell you were trying to be sarcastic and funny but I fail to see the humor.

The man broke the law, and then he went to jail. He got what he deserved. What seems to be the problem here?

The problem is that the TSA is way behind on their harassing unarmed arab men quota, and now they're wasting time with these good, upstanding American citizens who want nothing more than to exercise their god-given 2nd amendment rights in the transportation option of their choice, and what's more, the TSA is doing this while on the clock and with OUR HARD EARNED TAX DOLLARS!

*sarcasm detected* so you're saying the TSA arrests arab men who are unarmed, but will not arrest a white american man unless he is armed or has seriously broken the law in some way.

I was not aware of this, and would like to see proof.

That dude has some ridiculously close-set eyes. It's kinda creepin me out.

I think we need his long form birth certificate, he could be a Mexican.

I think that everyone goes through security, and has their carry on baggage checked... at least in every single Western airport I've ever been to...

TSA, in America, spends time randomly checking other people further, too... good. It's sad that it's almost as hard to re-enter America as it is to enter Israel as a foreigner, but I'd rather be inconvenienced than blowed up.

It is nothing compared to what a suspected Muslim has to go through to fly on El Al. And very few Americans are "inconvenienced" at all other than having their luggage checked and verified that it is theirs.
