710 AD: Apolyton sends us Navigation and we continue to Sail over ocean.

I was looking at the save, calculating, talking with poly, recalculating, looking some more, calculating even more for 5 hours yesterday before I went to bed way to late.

But this is the best I have come up with so far. Look at these budgets and give me some ideas if you'd like, and I'll play the save in a few hours:

Are you looking at them at all?!?! :eek:

In 690 AD we will have -138 Gold in our treasury! A negative value!

We will be broke and will start loosing buildings we can't pay upkeep for! :(

That is the reason I haven't played the save yet.
And I would love to send over more Riders and Muskets and Caravels, but we don't have production capacity, time or money to make them! :(
 
You said Poly might survive without the 138 gold there... that could be a solution.

Northern CFC:

Our Settler is under the Horseman and will arrive at the ruins in 3 turns. If we are to be able to use those Silks at once, we will also have to use a Worker to create a colony.

Does anybody know a good chinese translator that gives the translations in regular text? Those new cities should be renamed...
 
Our Target for the Invasion:

We will land on the Mountains in the east, move west to the Gold Mountain the turn after (maybe attacking Südspitze on the way), and attacking Flammburg (holding Leonardos Workshop) the turn after. Everything shall be destroyed and then we will pull out again.

Apolytons Target:

GWTs Forbidden Palace is probably located in Ruhrpott. Apolyton will land earlier than us, draw forces to this area, destroy the city and as much as possible else, and get out.

The Gold Beach on is ok, but what about Peking Duck?


I tried the translator and didn't understand how to get the answers in normal typing instead of Chinese marks. Am I stupid or is it just something I didn't notice? :hmm:
 
On CGN matters, they lost 4 cities last turn:

GWT razed 2 cities, captured one

GCA captured one size 6 city.

CGN lost 2 size 11 cities and a size 12 one and a size 6 one.
 
Ankka: I've been following our 'tradition' of using geographic names, rather than food. Personally speaking, I think it shows a bit of ignorance of Chinese culture on our part if we start naming things after Americanized versions of oriental foods.

And, the trick to use that translator is clicking the blue characters that are shown after you initially type in the word you're trying to translate. In another frame to the side, the english words will appear, along with translation.
