Turn Discussion

RNG rolls not going in your favour this time?

All Battles Were fought. I know the results :run:

Spoiler :

It seems that after Krill went Sailing and found some more Virgins for the sacrifice, and the Vodoo Magic came out again, the gods Ra, Nemesis and Gaia were just in thier results.

Yeh, we couldn't find any virgins in the Netherlands...but the English seem to have millions of them.

Not like they are of much use for anything else, right?

Reloading after combat have been preformed is bad form... Though only sancta know if anything went different than the first time around...

I just Logged in and re-played the turn.

I receated the moves exactly (as per rule 2.2)
I have a very detailed log of every moved performed.
The results were exactly the same.

While attacking yesterday I took screenshots as well that are time stamped and posted in our forums. (prior to the game going down, and then before it was back up)

That is good then.

PM sent to GA to verfiy validity that turn moves were the same and battle results (down to the :strength: of the unit) was the same.

I swear you've got this game rigged.

Hey, you were the one that asked if we had any virgins to sacrifice. Turns out we had just enough hanging around the baggage train to keep your men happy for the night...

For all parties concerned, SANCTA has extensive screenshot documentation in their forum showing that the same moves were performed before and after the game went down, including several that did nothing to benefit them. I'm satisfied that there was no alteration in play due to the technical issues that came up.

Kaz, if you look at the combat logs closely, you'll see that there wasn't anything particularly unlikely on this turn. The results basically went as expected.

Oh trust me, I've looked at the combat logs, plenty. Just the usual stuff to "expect" - winning every combat with over 20% odds and the ones with less than that doing significant damage.

This just keeps happening... you multiply the probability of these outcomes coming sequentially and you are talking big numbers here.

You flip a coin and get heads 10 times in a row sure you can say each roll wasn't particularly unlikely - but getting 10 in a row?

If you look at like that sure.

Or you could look at each turn as independant events...

Or alternatively:

Sun Tzu said:
A. Prohibit the taking of omens, and do away with superstitious doubts. Then, until death itself comes, no calamity need be feared.

B. The good fighters of old first put themselves beyond the possibility of defeat, and then waited for an opportunity of defeating the enemy.

C. Thus, what is of supreme importance in war is to attack the enemy's strategy

D. Opportunities multiply as they are seized.

E. Know your enemy and know yourself and you can fight a hundred battles without disaster

But most importantly:

There has never been a protracted war from which a country has benefited

Um, Kaleb...is there something we could say that would make you happy?
Don't need to say anything... just start losing some combats for a change dang it!

Um...I think that counts as throwing the game? We could delete some of our units as well, if that makes you fell better. Call it a misclick.

HUSch: I'm still able to log in to the game, so I think the connection problem is your end.

Seems ok to me...
