Turns 151-175

Bistrita, please dont forget to start moving 2 FWs trough Uciv's territory if they accepted our OB proposal from last turn. Also, consider making one Budhism missionary to be sent to WPC. And dont forget to put 1 spy in Abhi - getting a low low odd GSpy can be game changer for us. Also look for the south front - French may be concentrating knights there.

ot4ecfr аt gmail.com

This is ot4e's email and he asked us to tell him in advance when we are to end turn. He said it is very important and I promised he will get a mail about it.

Maybe Bistrita post when he plan to end turn and Yossa sends mail to ot4e. Give the guy few hours in advance. He is in Moscow, which is GMT -2 I think.

No problem I can email OT4E before we end turn. Just let me know what your plan is bistrita.

I logged into the turn and set all the new builds to "Research" to try to make them easier to identify and correct.

UCiv did not accept our OB offer, so we can't move the FWs through their land.

bistrita, I saw that you played the turn already, did you let ot4e know? I did not.

Yes, this one went OK with ot4e.

Uciv not accepting our OB offer on the other hand was not good :(

We still have OB with RB. Why don't we just send him through Egypt? It's not like it'll be a surprise to them that we're working with CP, and there is less risk of running into a stray CivFr unit.

imjust entered in game and one option was stop war with cfr i voted yes becasue anway we have just 1 vote and I wouldnt defied that(would cost us 5 happines in capitol).
tryed to get steel in 2 tyurns but its imposible to do that i cant ifnd anywere 100 beaker/turn.

This is awesome! If CP votes yes on this, then our war is over!! CivFr might even vote yes themselves. This war is achieving absolutely nothing for them except being a pain in our ass, but they'll be just as well off as we will if we can all have peace. Plus it's in their best interest if we can focus our army against RB.

Of course, we have to keep in mind that they'll take the first opportunity to re-DOW us and try to cause damage, but having forced peace is just about the best news I have heard about this game in a long time :D

Also, CivFr planted a new city this turn. I'm going to see if I can spot it when I log in, but that's just another sign that they're not fully invested in this war against us.

Blegh, nevermind. I didn't realize that CivFr had adopted the AP religion, and actually have the most votes of anyone :(

It still forces them to decide whether they still want to be at war with us. That's a good thing.

True. And if they still want to be at War with us then they have to either vote no and hope that they have enough votes, which I think they might find too risky, or they have to Defy the resolution and take that nasty 5 :mad:face penalty in every city. Are they really so determined to be at War with us that they can afford to absorb all that unhappiness? I doubt it. I bet they accept the resolution to avoid the unhappiness.

Remember that AP resolution does not let you check how many votes you need to defeat it before answering. You just log in to the game and Bam! You have to vote before you can play. So they have no idea (hopefully) whether thy can stop the resolution by just voting no.

Unfortunately they are able to stop it from going through single-handedly. I didn't take a picture of the Resolutions tab, but ending a war takes some 300+ votes, so both CivFr and CP would need to vote yes in order for it to pass. Interestingly, it is a resolution against us since CivFr is the correct religion and we were the one's who started the war.

That's a good point though that CivFr won't necessarily know they have the power to stop it on their own. I'm still keeping a little bit of hope that they might vote to end the war.

New turn is up. We got a GS, which is good and we got one of our spies caught in french territory, which is bad :( Still, we lost the one which was in the south and arguably, the less important one.

Interesting thing is Ot4e told me they stole Nationalism from RB, which he said will lead to them having some nice cuirrassiers soon.

The votes for the AP religion to stop war vs French came out and it says "Failed". But the interesting thing is CivFR voted "NO", which means they want the war. Not that we did not knew, but...

It seems we will need to build some 5 spies after all and raze Chinook. :satan:

We must be sure to give notice to Ot4e or MZ when we are to finish turn so they can declare war and play first in the turn.
