Well, it's party conference time and UK politics has been shaken up alot recently what with the resurgence of the Tory party, the Lib Dems being rather shaky under Ming and the Labour party tearing itself in half....so I figure time for another opinion poll of CFC UK'ers...

Bascially, if there was an election tommorow, who would you vote for?

And wow some how my sub-concious made the colours match for the poll results on the first 3 parties:D

I recently voted for the Lib Dems in the local elections. As an EU foreigner I'm not elegible to vote in the national elections. Labour's policies are obviously largely crap, the Conservatives are too Europhobic, so only the Lib Dems remain. I think it's high time the UK had a Liberal government again.

It would, obviously, depend a lot on the policies of the different parties*, but it would probably be safe to say Lib Dems for me.

*That is, when you actually get to hear them talking about policies and not insulting each other

It's going on a hundred years since they were last in power.

I was a firly staunch LibDem until they got shot of Charlie, and completely sold out to the disenchanted Labourite.

Why is it a public poll? How I vote is a private matter and I intend for it to stay that way. Secret ballots were an advancement in voting systems.

I am sick of Labour (been in power too long and the seemingly non-ending sleaze indicates I am right).

The LibDems are feeble IMO and would make an embarrassing Government (Just imagine Ming standing up at an EU or World event to talk on Britain’s behalf  ).
Unless you wish to vote tactically against either Labour or the Tories a vote for the LibDems is a waste.
Neither Ming nor Charlie are fit to tie the boot laces of Blair, Brown or Cameron.

My vote goes for call-me-Dave.

Labour - Possibly, I'll see what Brown's like but I'm not impressed with this Blair debalacle.
Lib Dems - Not what they did to Kennedy.
Tories - Getting more and more likely. David Cameron seems to be the person they needed.

The LDs would win in a landslide if only CFCers got to vote. (I would vote LD is I was a Brit.)

I would vote Labour. (and I would campaign for them too! ) I know they're not perfect and for some, not left wing enough, but I think we've made good social progress, and for me they are still the only party representitive of progressive politics in the UK.

I am from the US, so I vote "not from the UK".

If I had to vote I'd say Lib Dems, but it would mean I had seen policies that I could fully get on board with, I wont cast a vote for something or someone I can't agree with. It's often a case of informed non voting for me. Hey I'm a hard sell :)

I will be 18 in 2 weeks, but anyway i will be voting for an N.I party most likely the D.U.P that is if there is ever another election here?? My second choice would probably be the Conservatives only because I have a strong dislike for Labour and the Lib. Dems.
