Ultimate Civ Tourny!!

Hmmm, no update yet? Well then...ahem....

This is Week 6 of the Ultimate Civ Tourney, and things are really starting to heat up. The low turn out (3 regulars plus 1 newbie) resulted in less battles but more wheeling and dealing.

the Civs are in regualr contact with each other and it is no secret that the English (me) and the Babylonians (narz) have been allied for sometime. This alliance has resulted in both side receiving equal benefits :rolleyes: Some of which are a secret ;)

The return of fiery Migonne as the leader of the Spanish has resulted in a return of her moaning (only joking) but you did over react to my foreign advisors attitude setting.....enjoy the gift;)

The Americans were briefly controlled by FlowLikeLava and he has a tough task ahead of him as the mysterious Sioux, who remain hidden behind a vale of darkness, are situated right next to them and that vale is VERY big!

Didn't here much from the Germans and Romans as Sean and Rommel didn't turn up.

Oh and one last thing - I built The Great Wall!!! :)
 
Sorry for the delay in my weekly report everyone. I thought last Sunday's game went well, although the Sioux built Mike's Chapel on the turn right before I was slated to be finished! Oh well, life goes on.

So Sean, are you gonna be back this week? As for Rommel, I hope he returns, he's got to pay the piper!

nrk... i really appreciate(d) the gesture and kind thought... altho (maybe i ld betta just stay quiet or risking getting rated for overreacting again - ;) just kiddin' ;)), that particular gift u were referring to never could make it to my end, as the game had been saved prior to that action... anyway, thanx...

does this game start again at 1pm this sunday, and if so, would someone please put up the ip in here... this, since grandchief rick is my only contact for playing at all otherwise...

well, fellow cfc'ers... it is 1:20 PM by now and i havent got any ip address message... and dont know what to do... i assume this game has been cancelled... cya another time...

as usual, i do have no clue of what happened or is going on after today's game had been saved and to be restarted.... here i am, still waiting and hoping for the new ip to be indicated... i hope, all will go well and everyone can reconnect... if not, i ll see u all in two weeks, since next weekend, i will have other plans... good luck :)
 
Flowslikelava, you took anarkywrsbest's spot while he was trying to reconnect (I think that's what happened). I'd like you to join us next week. Message me at ICQ#159075313 if you can only join in the middle of a session.

Mignonne, I was hosting last game, but don't know how to contact you. We called it a day after anarchywrksbest couldn't resume - there wasn't much time left anyway. Do you have an ICQ#?

about next week, i probably will only show up for the first 30 minutes, then i gotta leave... so, if anyone would like to play for substitute after im gone, please be my guest...

If you guys haven't found anyone to play the Germans, I'll gladly take Rommel's spot, I would like to get involved, but you guys have early games for me since I'm on the west coast, but I'll see if I can show up this Sunday to play if that's ok with you.

Kaiser, you can surely join next Sunday although for your own safety I would recommend a tribe other than the Germans (after a series of betrayals, I am hellbent on destorying them :rocket: )

I know I am being a bit slow about last Sunday's assesment and comments but I will get it done before this Sunday. Its been a busy week, I bought a van [dance] and am trying to get a business started. We'll see how it goes. But don't worry, even if my apartment catches fire while my girlfriend is giving birth (very unlikely since she's not pregnant) I will still be there this Sunday at 1pm Eastern :D

KaiserWilliam, I think Flowslikelava played the Germans once before, so he's got seniority to sub that civ, but there's a good chance we'll need you somewhere.
 
kaiser william... if u ld like u can substitute for playing the spanish today, since (unfortunately) i wont be able to make it... please, please make sure tho, that u finish my wonders im currently building... I hope we have a good amount of people this time round. I think we should start right at 1pm or at the latest, 1:10pm (EST). If you miss the start you can always join midgame. Spending 40 minutes trying to get everyone organized is a bit draining. If you want to join in midgame, just messege me on ICQ : 162893046 and I'll let everyone know to expect a new player.
