Honduras must not fall!

Hopefully Brazil focus on clearing the rest of South America first before going for Central America as otherwise they might not be able to replace the Honduras road block.

I'm not sure I have much faith in the US or India / whoever wins being able to launch invasions over an ocean but maybe I'll be surprised.

Update XXIV - January 1, 1940 - March 1, 1940

Another update, another epic troll country falls. A moment of silence for Honduras.

In Europe, Spain has now reduced English forces on the continent to small pockets of resistance scattered around France. Spain has also managed to cut off an Indian attack into the Balkans, and is pushing back now in the Caucausus, while Russia keeps fighting for survival.

XXIV-Europe.png

Africa continues to be a battle ground between south African and Indian forces, with everyone else following the English strategy of sitting back and drinking tea while others fight it out.

XXIV-Africa.png

China and India continue to trade provinces in Central Asia, with China seemingly have a very slight edge right now. With Spain regaining its prior form, they are now starting to retake parts of the Middle East. Japan is starting to take over Southeast Asia, with just a small Vietnam in the north and a one province Siam. They have also taken most of Borneo and repelled the Philippine invasion of Australia.

All hail the great Brazilian Omnomnom!

Yay! Update :D Great fun to watch this!

Honduras finally fell! :D

Great American-Brazilian war, anyone?

I don't think so as it looks like Brazil is running out of time to finish off the other nations and get a big stack in Panama which was their best chance of holding off the USA.

Looks like it's gonna be the US vs Brazil for control over the Americas! btw, ten bucks that Brazil manages to hold it's own for at least 5 updates once they border each other.

Bumpety bump :w00t:

Update XXV - March 1, 1940 - May 1, 1940

First off, India continues its march through Africa continues with the annexation of Gold Coast.

39-GoldCoast.png

England crosses into Copenhagen from Sweden and annexes Denmark, and they will probably lose that quickly to Spain.

38-Denmark.png

And look, Peru did something! Defeated their rival Ecuador with the help of Panama.

37-Ecuador.png

Britain has been kicked out of France, but they have decided to take a little vacation in Andalusia. Spain meanwhile continues to reclaim land in Russia, with the Russians now on the run again.

XXV-Europe.png

India is now starting to push the South Africans back down the Nile while Cameroon is expanding outwards.

XXV-Africa.png

China and India continue to fight it out throughout Central Asia, though neither side has been able to break out yet. Japan has held onto Indochina despite India and China have a great advantage of not having to ship in men or supplies, and Japan has almost defeated New Guinea.

XXV-WestAsia.png

XXV-EastAsia.png

XXV-Oceania.png

Finally, Chile and Colombia are both on the verge of defeat, possessing no armies. This will leave Peru as the sole obstacle to Brazilian dominance of the continent. Brazil is going to need to move fast to secure Panama before the US gets around to doing something productive.

Thank you for continuing to update this :D

Update XXVI - May 1, 1940 - July 1, 1940

Brazil started off busy, annexing Colombia and Chile to further consolidate their hold on South America. With the US halted in Central America, Brazil is moving fast before they have a chance to make their way any further south.

36-Colombia.png

35-Chile.png

To Southeast Asia, where Siam finally loses Bangkok and is annexed by India. Though by the time I could get the screenshot Japan had already taken the province.

34-Siam.png

In Soviet Russia, Spain annexes you!

33-Russia.png

So with their defeat of Russia, Spain is now rolling. They are pushing back into Turkey, the Caucausus, and now into British Finland and Chinese Siberia. Without getting stopped by Russian forces, Spain has just exploded outwards.

XXVI-Europe.png

In Africa, India has broken through the South African lines and are now pushing deep into the south. They have mostly conquered the Horn, and there really isn't anything that is going to stop them from pushing all the way to the Cape. Cameroon might actually end up being the last African nation standing as a result of this.

XXVI-Africa.png

China had been slowly grinding down India in Central Asia and gaining ground, however with Spain now advancing in from the west, all of that hard work might soon be in vain. East Asia remains relatively the same, though in Oceania Japan is making slow progress in Borneo and New Guinea.

Finally South America, where Brazil has taken Medellin and the Panama Canal, setting themselves up nicely for the battle against America.

Fantastic news for Spain and Brazil... how does the IC and armed forces of Spain, Britain and the USA compare?

Brazil gobbles up two more nations, while the USA is stalled by a nation with one province.
