Ive been playing the so far achieved 40k mod, here are some sugestions:
How about makeing space marines and chaos space marines tougher and faster.
Since they'r Suposed to be elite, I am thinking about general stats of: +1 health, 2 movement
(1 movement for Thousand Sons and Plague marines, compensated by +2 health) as for khorne berserkers, +something for attack value, not shure. About city names; since its a planet thats being invaded, the Thousand sons City names I could invent, starting of with "Prosper" as Capital,
from their Once Homeworld of Prospero, Then Takeen, Zeeteph, Arman, Caileeth, Tzeenak, Char, Azees, Metoph, Kasseth, Bellamar, Daliim, Methos, Magnas, Azur, Zerlas, Kathor, Ranee, Maleem,
Karack, Lathon, Helotheph, Fatheen, Vadoom, Vadar, Jeross, Patheroth. I can come up with more, just tell me if their needed, But dont go camp 1, camp 2, theres a wide variety of city names you could come up with for ImpGuard and UltraMarines, like comand post Glyry, Vigour, Rigteous flame and other fanatical nonsence for the simple sort of Space marines.
Ah and one more thing, about the chaos marine model with a bolter, use it, its awesome, im saying this cause I didnt see it in the so far version of the mod, there was one with a plasma pistol and a chainsword ( the chainsword is floating at the back when its fortified), also cool, but dont throw away the other=) further more, you can take a lot of resources from DOW, modify, minimize them a little and you can come up with lots of resources, but not too much, not that it just turns into a smaller version of DOW, but Im shure theres lots of usefull stuff there to use.
I can also ofer some of the guys at Relicnews forum to help you mod, the moding of civs3 is easier than DOW I think, cant promise anything but maybe they'l give you a hand. what do you say?
