Unit of the Month for September 2010

I voted for the Magic Japanese Girl because poor Hikaro needs some votes. They're all great though!

Hikaro unit was nice too, original morphing, but it's facing a tough competition.

Thanks guys, but as you should well know, Japanese Anime girls (magical or otherwise) stand no chance against eldritch tentacled abominations.

That said, I voted for Cthulhu, not the least of my reasons were the facts that I (a) requested this unit at least once and (b) was planning on eventually doing it myself, if I could find a decent octopus figure for the head, but now that Plot made this unit and did such a good job with it, I can cross that off of both my want and to-do list.

I think, the Cthulhu had a bigger working phase like my mammoth, but its not so different like my egypt War chariot. BTW - the anglo-saxon gang here votes everytime for Mr. Plotinus - the Master of unusable units (for historical civIII).

If you are going to complain about historical accuracy, you better make sure that you provide the same standard that you demand from others. There is a reason why it was referred to as the WOOLLY Mammoth.

Unfortunately for you, we do have real mammoths to compare your work to. Your animation is quite good, but historically accurate? I think not. I think thou dost protest tooooo much.

Pounder is awesome. These competitions are awesome. Did I invent them? No, that was unit lotteries.

I haven't decided who to vote for, but I have decided who I'm Not voting for, ever. Or using their units, ever.

Well, I'm going to have to vote against the crowd here (as it seems Plotinus's Cthulhu unit is going to win hands down ). I'll go for Wyrm's tank. This truly is a superb unit, but he's made so many, I can see why there aren't many people impressed.

Winning by a landslide, and though I tried to stay upright as the landslide rolled over me, the Cthulhu still prevailed. I can't say I'm suprised, it was a great work of art, and it was different from all those tanks (). Great work Plotinus and I hope for many more galactic abominations in the future!
