Good lord... page 3 already! Well, I guess it must mean there's a lot of good brain-storming going on.
Okay, before I went and finished this unit, I thought I'd clear it with everyone first.
It has a new rifle, which I made big since everybody agreed they used very long rifles. The bayonet may be too large though... but then again, for Civilization, everything has to be slightly out of proportion.
I would either shorten the rifle or lose the bayonet. It's a little too long. But it looks awesome! I like your old units, but you have definately improved, Dom!

Agreed on ALL counts. the rifle + bayonet together are probably the right size, but IMO do need shortening for their appearance in Civ. Other than that, fantastic!
Thanks... as I've said before, my improvement is due in large part to Kinboat who posted that very helpful set up file for Poser.
Also, my palette-editing skills have gotten a lot better, and I understand the inner workings much better.
I'm thinking actually of redoing all of the elephant/camel cavalry units over again as well as the Jomon Warrior using the new Poser room set up. I still have all of the files and everything, so it really wouldn't be that daunting a task.
But first things first, I've got these three units and a Roman arquebusier to put out first.
I know your making an ashigaru musketman, and a japanese rifleman, any chance we will see meiji cavelry a WW2 japanese marine?
and when do you plan on having all these units out? ^o^
The cavalry I've made is like sort of pre-Meiji. Probably would equivalent in time period to the dragoon. And the WW2 Marine has already been made hasn't it?
