i really didn't want to do this, but need to.

i request:
10 men in white robes:
1 one in plain robes and a sword
2 one with a bigger sword
3 one with robes, some bionic bits (like an unrobed robotic arm) and a sword
4 one with robes, bionics, and an energy sword
5 one robot (like aaglo's manbot) with white robes and a big energy sword

and 5 more with spears instead of swords

10 men in dark robes:
1 dark robes, axe
2 dark robes, bigger axe
3 dark robes, bionic bits, axe
4 *using aaglo's mechpriest*
5 manbotesque with dark robes and energy axe

and 5 more with spear replacement

If you seriously wish this to be made, I suggest you learn to make units yourself.

3. i didn't ask for a c&p change, i asked for a unit along the line of such a unit. and i'm using aaglo's Mechpriest as i requsted it, to be used as such a unit.
4. they're needed to upgrade to one another, hence the similarities.
5. they're needed for 2 different civs, hance the 2 different colours.
6. the similarities mean very litte effort to make them into seperate units.
7. your tone came across as what is know in Ireland as being "thick", as in, an annoyed tone. personally, i dont have much respect for such a tone. that's not meant to be offencive towards you, just your tone came across as unsuitable.
8. i'm quite annoyed ATM, as i'm stuck at home babysitting a sick 3 year old.

Now, I`d agree with Quinn about that tone of yours, Bjorn. No one is requesting them from you directly, if you don`t want to make them, mind your own units. Cheers, mates, I`m getting a beer, anyone wants something from the fridge?

Sorry I forgot about your C&P unit and your bryce robot.
And also sorry that my comments caught you in a bad mood.
But, I am not sorry for what I said otherwise. Your request was vague and unrealistic. Consider this: You've been here a while, have you ever seen anyone take up even the most interesting list of even 5 units? Let alone a list of 20?? There was not sample imagry, there was nothing in your text to make a unit creator go "oh cool" or "hey that sounds fun to make".
The bottom line is this, it is a hopeless request. I thought you should have known that. I hope someone proves me wrong, but you and I both know that is not gonna happen.
I hope your 3yr old is feeling better. I have in the recent (previous 2 months) had to deal with a sick 1 yr old, 3yr old and 6yr old that took turns being sick (typically 2-3 at a time, and which particular germ they had varying a bit) ... So I know full well the frustration that comes with dealing with sick little ones. I'll just attribute your comments to that stress and move on.

yes, i did come across a bit rough there.. it was quite frustrating with her coughing and puking etc..

i know this is longer than a long shot. i suppose it was more a post to say "if you want to, you can make these, but its neither here nor there if you don't" rather than just "make these".

and i may have worded the mechpriest thing incorrectly as well as taking up what you said about it incorrectly. what i meant to say was that i had requested aaglo (or anyone) to strech the chaos dwarf to human size, and aaglo kindly obliged.

You do need some concept art though. I mean I've made a couple of men in white robes with spears, but I don't know if they're anything like what you want. I think most unit-makers will only make something that sounds interesting to them, and for that you need either a good deal more description or some good images.

I'd like a samurai unit that has a bow and sword. first attack is firing the bow, then pulling out the sword, and the second attack is just with the sword

(and a mounted version, if you're not too busy)

its rare that unit makers look in this thread, and rarer still that they make whats in it.

Be patient, Keep active in the forums. And, eventually you might get it.
It helps if you are asking on the behalf of a high profile MOD. Or, if you are well known around there. Niether of those two things is gonna happen right away.

Ultimately the problem is time. It takes a fair bit of work to make these units, some unit creators can whip one out in a few hours. But, even a few hours is alot to ask of a stranger. Would you go to the corner and grab someone to come mow your lawn for you? I suspect not.
I had one major unit request and it took a bit of luck in a unit lottery (a few of the unit creators have in the recent past held lotteries where the winner got the unit he or she asked for)

Not sure if this is a proper request, but I am in need of an African Knight...one that looks "Tribal" and can be placed as a Knight (between the Zebra Raider, and the Zulu Cavalry)...not much "armor" in the Euro sense...but animal hides and such...I have no pics as I believe this is a fictional unit...

oh and if it's riding a zebra, all the better

If anyone knows of such a unit, please let me know...

I don't think that anyone ever managed to domesticate zebras for use as cavalry. The zebra rider unit by Dom Pedro II was just a horse with stripes painted on it. And that was a fictional unit itself.
