The only solution I've come up with is to limit a train to road travel and give the unit a high movement rate. All other units that utilize road movement could keep their normal movement rates. Of course Railroad building would not be possible in the scenario however I'm wondering if my idea is realistic.

Something you could do with such a setup is make the train a land transport. You wouldn't be able to carry it on ships and the AI would likely ignore it, but it could be a handy logistical tool.

am not seriously into modding yet , maybe will never be , but ı came up with this idea a sabre toothed tiger , a human archer on him , metalic extensions like wings to keep enemy spearmen away ( and they would be definitely okay when one was being deployed from an aerial galley as an airdrop ) Are there any Griffons , if this is the name , like this ?

The Firaxis one looks pretty close to me, but your call. Funny I actually think it's a better looking unit than the other two, though I haven't seen it animated.

I would agree Nick, but I would still like another one that is larger and more detailed. If I can't get it, then I will probably make due with the Firaxis one.

Sure I can wait. As I said I can use the Firaxis one until then. There is a lot of other work I have to do also, and that may take a month or two so no problem.
