Hey Nomad,

Hows the stealth destroyer coming?

Terribly. It's custom anims don't work well in Civ V and I can't rig it to a Civ V unit because the location of the turrets is different. The problem with the customs is that CiV has Aim Left, Aim Center, and Aim Right animations; the Civ IV custom anims only aim in one direction so I can't define actions or effects for the others. If you know of anyone who has overcome this problem before, let me know; I am curious about how to solve it.
 
Is it possible to convert Beyond Earth models to Civ V? Because putting in Sentinels, Centurions, and whatever the purity ranged units were would make you really awesome.

Possible? Yes, though it's also possible Firaxis would get peeved about it.

Does anyone have any Vietnamese infantry? That could be the NVA, for instance.
 
I don't know about Vietnamese riflemen, but you could always "borrow" the Viet Cong unit graphics from CL's Vietnam, although they're armed with... I don't know exactly what kind of gun it is; AK47, maybe?

Other than that, I guess your best bet would be danrell's WWII Chinese Infantry.
 
If someone could please convert the Barge here, that would round out the unique embarkation graphics for Cultural Diversity, and would be much appreciated. All that needs doing is creating a second vertex group or something (I really don't understand any of this), and removing the original template, but I included the br2 file and Hangman's Raft template in case starting from scratch is easier/better. See here for more info. Thanks.

I was not real sure what you were after (still not entirely) but after reading this it seems you only wanted to keep the second mesh. I have deleted the galley mesh, copied over the vertex groups and rigged 2 of them for you. I have export to br2 and made the gr2 for you so it should be good to go.:) I have not tested it in game.

Thanks, but unfortunately it doesn't work, as you can see in the screenshot below. Probably a problem that I created when initially trying to transfer the weights or something, so perhaps it'd need to be converted from scratch? Still, at least it's not invisible :p

I was not sure what was used as the template so I took a guess and appended it to the barbarian galley. This is obviously not the case. Can you post the gr2 file for Hangmans barge and I will append it to that and that should fix it.
