Hi All

This Sub from 1776 cald the "Turtle", was just on Discorvery Channel. Then I thought it would be an great early Sub unit.

Source: heiszwolf.com

"The Turtle by David Bushnel, 1776 (USA). The Turtle attempted to attach its 150 lb gunpowder charge to the British flagship the Eagle, but failed."

They tried multiple times, but faild them also.

Any one want to make this unit?

I have a model already, how would I animate the attack??

Yes! I need this for the Improbable Mod! Thank you Wyrm!
I think it drills into the other ship? I'm not completely sure.

BTW Wyrm, do you have a model for or have you done a Canadian Arrow Jet Fighter? It's here - Just Improbable Mod Arrow Pic. If you could do it or point me to it I'd be very happy. If you have a model you could send it to me also.

The avro arrow has already been made...TWICE
just look in the unit library :)

But I agree, this would be a pretty cool unit

@Dease - Sorry. Heck, I'm even the librarian. Oh well. Thanks.

Civil War era subs were for planting explosives on enemy ships, they were pretty successful because they were so small and dark so the ship usually couldn't see them. They were used primarily during the night. Thus, the attack animation should have some guy opening the top hatch and planting a bomb and then it exploding after he crawls back in the hatch.

What about a pole with TNT, like you did your great Hunley Wyrmshadow? The only Difference that the pole is up in the air. :)

The first submarine. Sweet job Wyrm.
