If you could post screen shots that'd be cool too (I've never actually seen the spearman, horseman or [obviously] the swordsman in game). Thanks so much for this, if you need an LH or anything don't hesitate to ask. Those who do me favors get them in return. Also feel free to comment on whether or not you think they look sufficiently Assyrian. Keep in mind I am making some medieval age what-if units that are basically Assyrians in more regal/cool armor.

The damn headband doesn't move with his head; and when i attach it to the head node, it becomes a [female dog] to position, cause it doesn't want to rotate.
 
That's not very important, I can give him a different head in that case. That looks awesome though. How do the animations work? (basically is there clipping with the shield or anything?)
 
Thanks a lot, I altered him a bit so he doesn't look like a copy of the spearman. Here is what I am going to use as the Assyrian Swordsman! Again, thanks so much!!!
 
I wonder whether there is a two-handed-swordsman because I could not find a one in the database. Has anybode seen a one? Thanks.
FfH has one, used as a mercenary.

By the way, is a Roman Centurion available? Since writing the earlier post about how to incorporate different figures in the same unit, I thought it would be nice to have a Centurion commanding two Legionaries in the Praetorian unit.

The Assyrian spearman and swordsmen are well done: will there be an Assyrian Axeman?

Actually there is going to be an entire set. But its only available with the module pack I'm working on for it (Apache, Haiti, Assyria, Philippenes, Puerto Rico and Siam), which was also what my latest batch of LHs was for. Here are a few images, the Longbowman and the Axeman....

And I also have a crossbowman, knight, pikeman etc. as well. But you'll have to check out my mod's thread for those previews.

EDIT: The Axeman uses Bernie's Cuban axeman as a base.
 
Oh, I've searched the database and this forum, if the model exists it is not available and uploaded on the site (except possibly hidden as an attachement burried somewhere...)
 
Yeah, that unit linked doesn't have paradrop animations, and the unit Edgecrusher has doesn't have a parachute with the paradrop animations, so it's not really useable, at least I don't see much point in updating a unit missing animations for one with broken animations, lol.

im working on a mod - dune wars,
based of frank herberts novel,

if anyone can create some units for me...that would be great,


the units i need if anyone doesnt famuliar with dune are:

- land rovers - kinds of unit that are somthing like a car/tank on wheels - desert futuristic vehicles.

-create unit based on gunship model - for the purpose of making future ship just like gunships,
the problem is that there are some nice models but they are desind for air domain and once put on land domain, they are set on the ground....
so i need them to be based on gunship for same use.

- future tanks

- future was vehicles

- sonic tank for anyone thats familiar with this one.

Hey Edgecrusher; would you mind posting that unit? I am adding an expanded future era to my mod and I'd like to put that unit in it.

This is the unit White Rabbit made. this one DOES NOT have the paradrop animation. That one Is in the Heroes mod, but as I mentioned earlier, the Parachute does not "appear" when he paradrops.
