Unit Series: SMLE Mk 3

And Khaki version of your Indian / Punjab / Sikh could be nice also, to fight in South Asia and not only in North Africa :mischief:

And if they had a drop animation they could be alternatively used as paratroop.

I wanna make a request too. IF you ever return to `Modern Assault Rifles` could you make an "Australian Rifleman - Modern" ? Using exactly the same unit as here but only with a more modern weapon ? (If it`s only me ,give him a "Heckler & Koch") He looks sooooo Aussie - at least for me that`s THE Aussie !:goodjob:

Some ideas for indian partisans... images aren't the best but you might get the idea.

hey Gary! I like ur little guys with their guns (size is perfect!) and I also know that u tweaked alot on it to make them as they are right now. But can u tell me on which models u used your 'default' model, which u are using today? Thnx!

Btw. Im looking for a model than can act as a Grounded Luftwaffe Pilot which u can upgrade later in the game. Same with Italians, Japanese, Iraqi ect. The reason for this is that I want to temporarily eliminate the german airfore in 1945. All planes can/will be 'upgraded' to a Grounded Luftwaffe Pilot. Tanks and other personal will be upgraded to Border Guards. In my mod the germans have an advancement in 1938-1944 but a disadvancement in 1945-1955. Can you be a help in this?

Also can u give the german marine u made no gun at all? So he act as a 'jobless' marine :-)

Hi Redback, I don't understand what you are asking.

OK. No problem...I wil try again :-)

I followed your art work and you did alot of tweaking (for example: the walking animation) to your default model, which you are using for all of ur further units now. I know that you have made models which don't have the perfect animation in your eyes....and I wanne know which one becuz I lost track in the ones are perfect. Hope u understand me now hehe...

I believe Redback is asking for (in the best case) Luftwaffe troops from the Herman Goering division and hypothetical equivalents for other airforces - airforce personnel being repurposed as infantry.

... Yes?

Regards,

Oz

No clue what repurposed means, but sound ok for me ! But it was my second question/proposal ;) Hope you understand my first one :)

"Repurposed" is American corporate lingo for using something for other than whatever its original purpose was (that's something of a snyde view, but I've been there and am willing to back it up).

That having been said, I can't speak for Gary, but I still haven't the faintest idea what you're talking about

Best,

Oz

If I understand your question correctly then I've been using the same method to do the run animation since I redid the US Garand and German Mauser 98 packs. Then when I did the AK-47 pack I started having the gun in a "ready" position while they run. So I guess the answer to your question would be that starting with the AK-47 pack is when I started to get the run down best. Everything before the AK-47 pack I may try to redo one of these days. :)

Thank you! That was the answer I was looking 4 :goodjob:

Oke OZ pay attention now....especially 4 you :D In dummy english

In my mod I have:
- German civ is allowed to build planes in 19xx -1944. (give them extra hit point, advancedment for german civ or see it as a Golden age)
- War ends in 1945...player is not allowed to build planes anymore
1946 all german planes are disbanded...and will be 'upgraded' to a disbanded german pilot unit (ground unit).
- Germany pilots are 'jobless' until 1954 in the game. (No german planes allowed)
- In 1955 german civ joins NATO and are allowed to build planes
- In the game you can upgrade the german pilots into F-86 planes

So...I wat looking for a infantry unit with no gun, just walking animation and can act as a German Pilot unit.

Same with the Waffen-SS...they will be turned into workers.
Same with the 'normal' infantry or tank div. they will be turned into a Border Guard (low Att & Def) unit 1955

Like the idea? I have the Border Guard...but now I was looking for a grounded/jobless luftwaffe pilot :)

It's not completly impossible...
You have have 1944 planes "upgrade" to a "jobless pilot", with a pilot graphics (while still being a plane with no mission, no attack, no nothing), when the 1946 technology is discovered, and then have this "jobless pilot" upgrade to F-86 planes when the 1955 technology is discovered.

The problem is nothing forces the upgrade of 1944 to jobless pilot. You can just make it so the planes are no longer buildable.

Yep Steph, thats what I mean!! Also I don't mark the option 'Immobile' but I do mark it as a 'Foot Unit'. So...I was asking Gary (Becuz I use his units alot) if he has a good solution (unit) for it! :goodjob:

Very well done, Gary. A very cool pack and I like the way you're now prefacing your threads with the weapon featured.

Steph the reason I say it is not possible is because a ground unit is unable to upgrade to an air unit. I discovered that when I tried to make cavalry upgrade to an air mobile unit.

Read again what I wrote. The "jobeless pilot" would be an air unit with the graphics of a ground unit.
