Units From Wyrmshadow

No, only France and Russia does that.
Then you can perhaps enlight me.

Saudi Arabia operates 373 Abrams. Kuwait 218. Egypt 1005. Iraq has ordered 280.

Bahrein operates 160 M60 Patton. Egypt 1700. Jordan 250. Lebanon 66. Morocco 560. Oman 73. Saudi Arabia 450. Tunisia 84. Yemen 240.

Can you tell me if these tanks were exported by France, or by Russia?

Your French Sarcasm notwithstanding, I was thinking of Algeria and Oman when you asked about North African and Gulf states.

Also, why ask me a question you are fully capable of answering by yourself?

Generally, I would not be surprised that an American don't know the details of the geography of the area. But you are smarter than that (you know the existence of a country named Oman, I wonder how many Americans do).
Beside, Oman does operates Abrams, Patton, Challenger 2... But no Leclerc, no AMX30... And they operated only 3 T-55... No T-62, T-64, T-72, T-80 or T-90, according to wiki

The question was not directed specifically at you. And I did really answer the question, I just had a look at wikipedia.

And it says that the Leopard is not operated by a guld states or North African country, the closest would be Turkey.

So I was wondering if wikipedia was right (I don't trust it 100% percent), to know what country could use the desert version of your Leopard.

It's for anyone that wants a desert version. The big powers both sell to and operate in desert type countries, so I'm just covering my bases for anyone that wants it. Like an Afrika Korps Panzer... why would it be grau when I could make it sand colored?

btw... AMX-30's are popular among those states and I think Oman has more Leclercs than France.
The Abrams that the US sells are the crap export version (M1A1) with only steal armor and none of the fancy electronics that the M1A2SEP has.

And the T-55/t-72 family is a time a dozen in that region as well.

I won't complain about that! If I can't find a "real" desert version of a MBT for that region, I'd of course won't hesitate to use it.

Wrong country. It's the Emirates which ahs more Leclerc than France (and it's the only other country with Leclerc). Oman is not in the Emirates.
And the AMX 30 was used by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Emirates, not Oman.

Correct for some countries : Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lybia, Yemen all have tons of Russian tanks.

But in Jordan, Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, it's mostly British, French or American stuff.

Dont forget Kuwait had a lot of M-84's... the Serbian T-72 copy. And France likes to export to a lot of non-aligned nations.. UK mostly to it's Commonwealth.

France will sell to anyone willing to pay the right price. All arms-producing countries do.

France sells to countries it trusts and has longstanding relations with. The same can be said for the other major exporters. Most of the American equipment is used by nations that sided with the US during the cold war. Lets try to avoid antagonizing people with under researched commentary.

Like Afghans having US weapons, for example? I'm not antagonisig either Steph or Wyrmshadow; 'the right price' is not merely cash. 'the right price' means that you won't use the weapons against them, but for them.

2nite ill be doing some jets that I want to do. Its real easy to figure out what they are, the answer is right in front of you.

Did I get the reload right? I just guessed it was the logical way under battlefield conditions.
