Units From Wyrmshadow

Another all nighter to fix and texture this model. At least 7 hours right after I finished the Ontos.

Wyrm already sent me two exellent units but RL got in the way... I hope to be able to do the sounds ASAP. Hold on guys... ;)

Up very early or very late?

Very early, since I had to get ready for my godchild's baptism. Ontos and Bulldog are now in the DB, Wyrm did some excellent work, as always! I'm really looking forward to the Bradleys. :)

M41 Walker Bulldog, awesome!!! :worship:
Always loved that little mean machine since I saw it in action on the Danish island of Bornholm.

Is it in another, larger scale compared to other tanks?

It's the same size I measured out for the M-42 Duster

So it's a larger scale than the heavier tanks you've made then.

It's a good scale, brings out the details better :goodjob:

No. It's a formula I developed back in 2007 to make sure that giant tanks are not too large and tiny tanks are not too small. It's not a 1:1 pixel/meter scale. The slope of the equation is much more shallow.

Here's M41 light tank, M103 heavy tank, and M1A2 TUSK for comparison.

I was actually surprised to find that the M41 is only about one meter shorter, half a meter narrower, and half a meter lower than the M103 (hull length x width x height: M41 5.82 x 3.20 x 2.71 m vs. M103 6.99 x 3.76 x 3.23 m, the Abrams is 7.93 x 3.66 x 2.44 m).
So your equation doesn't cause as different scales as I thought at first sight, my bad :)

Overall length.

It's difficult to find hull only measurements for everything. So I went with overall length with the barrel forward.

I know you guys look forward to my units, that's why I've been limiting my time on World of Tanks, yet I still come home exhausted from work.

If I went out boozing and galavanting around every night, I'd still come home at a more reasonable hour than I do with my current work hours.
