Using the Timer

The timer simply doesn't work with things like GMT+10 or UTC+10, I had to make the time EDT and convert from my time zone. Does anyone else have a similar problem?

[timer=4/10/2015 10:00 AM +10:00; NO time left][/timer]

Just reread the thread, apparently I have to get rid of the timezone and just add +10. That was easy. Probably should've read the thread earlier, though its strange that it does that. Oh well.

Who'd've thought that reading the OP would've been necessary?

Not anyone who plays mafia that is for sure.

I had to read Daveshacks post not the op anyway.

And look who it was that figured it out :king:
The UTC +/- corrections don't seem to be working when specified that way, but it does appear to work if you just put a correction without the "UTC".

When you post your own timer, you may have to refresh the page for it to show. The quick post and edit thingies make some browsers only do a partial refresh (with some browser settings?) and the javascript is not reinitialized.

Thanks to The Black Knigh for the solution!
