[MOD] v41 SVN and GithubDesktop Bugs and Crashes Single player

I think I have updated SVN successfully (followed this guide: https://github.com/caveman2cosmos/Caveman2Cosmos/wiki/Using-SVN - got a message: "Completed At Revision 11354). I noticed a font change on "Press <Enter> to end turn" prompt, and changes in various production bars. A little weird looking, but - after pressing <Enter>, the turn won't finish loading and the little man just keeps running. Still facing the same problem, unfortunately.

Might be worth noting that in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Caveman2Cosmos, there are two "Configuration Setting" type files: "Caveman2Cosmos Config" and "Caveman2Cosmos" - in Explorer, the latter one has a red exclamation point next to it. This seems only to have occurred after loading my game and hitting that same wall.
Do full cleanup
 
Right click on mod folder, and there is Tortoise SVN -> Do cleanup in menu

Okay, did that, still facing the same issue. C2C folder and config file have red exclamation point again (not sure if this has any bearing).

This is the save, as of recalculations. Not sure if it's possibly even a hardware issue on my side - I've gotten Memory Allocation Failures before, but not this. It seems the turn simply will not proceed to the next one.

So are you gonna ignore all the multiple (not just from me) complaints about these sudden unpredictable crashes and freezes since the last SVN or so?
My SVN is up-to-date as of 10 minutes (or 2 days) ago, and it still occasionally randomly crashes on a duel-sized map.
 
What part of RANDOM and UNPREDICTABLE makes you think that a save would help?
But here's my last auto-save, which means there was a crash max 4 turns afterwards.

Crashes didn't happen for me, upload user settings, and do SVN cleanup.
I noticed, that you don't have electricity, because you don't have any copper.

It might be a custom map thing, even.
I started another game and now don't have this problem, but I have another, lol.
Whatever.

Apologies for repost, but thought I might re-iterate, as this hasn't been addressed: if anyone could confirm whether they are able to advance this save to the next turn, it would be much appreciated. As of now, it's at a standstill and I want to know if there's any possible way to save it.

Update to latest SVN and recalculate variables with ctrl+shift+t

Cannibalism special buildings got removed some time ago, so you are several SVNs behind.

I updated to revision 11355 (from https://svn.code.sf.net/p/caveman2cosmos/code/trunk - was following this guide: https://github.com/caveman2cosmos/Caveman2Cosmos/wiki/Using-SVN) and ctrl+shift+t. No luck on that.


Where can I find user settings? Is this under the BUG menus or elsewhere?
 
Ah, ok, thanks for explaining that - here it is.

Fingers-crossed that something in there can be changed to resolve this issue.
He passed turn after 30 minutes on Debug DLL, so I guess you have to wait 10 - 30 minutes.
 
Nice, that is very encouraging, I'm content to wait for longer than that, hahaha. But how do I activate this Debug DLL?
You can't, unless you install github version of mod.
Debug dll is for debugging, and its MUCH slower than Final Release DLL, that SVN is always using.
 
Is the latest SVN a save breaker? Updated and now can not load any save games.
