Ok, will investigate, new games seems to work fine so hopefully its not as bad as one might think.Here it is. Upon loading (on SVN r.11396) and recalculating modifiers, you immediately hear the demotion chime and get notified of units losing invalid promotions. Have a look at the musketeers/musketmen units:

Didn't inspect much else after seeing what had happened to them. Also noted, of the units that were ready for promotion, only one promotion option was available as opposed to the usual variety. All of my units obtained their promotions naturally through normal game play so you can rule out any WB unit editor cause.
Everything continues to work fine on r.11395
Yeah, I'll look into that, probably something missing in XML for those promotions as I removed hardcoded stuff that could be defined in xml, and in most cases was defined in xml.Even with the newest SVN my gatherer can be upgraded to military promotions which probably doesn't make sense.

On it.CTD with SVN 11399. Actually 2 problems. Move unit and it's graphic disappears. Then click on another unit and CTD.
You will see that the scout is only represented with the red circling arrows on a forested hill. Then locate Hunter NW of scout, which has already moved as well. Game will CTD upon clicking on Hunter.
EDIT: Re loaded save and Scout was completely gone from game (Got the Scout from a goody Hut the Hunter had explored). And could proceed with game play. So you will not see the problem nor the CTD upon loading this savegame!
Note: both the Hunter and the now missing Scout came from Goody huts.
I saved the initial turn so I will see if I can replicate the CTD by retracing my turns. (I will probably Not get a Hunter now from the 1st Goody Hunt)
