[MOD] v41 SVN and GithubDesktop Bugs and Crashes Single player

I didn't pay much attention to what happened next, but I had a good laugh when I opened an enemy's "spying-unlocked" city and could place (but not remove) units into the building queue, lol.
I didn't bother to check whether it stuck, mostly since I wouldn't know whether it was removed (or not) automatically or by a "conscious" AI decision.
But it was funny to do anyways - and is probably a BUG, lol.
 
After engaging and damaging enemy ground troops on several consecutive turns, I noticed my Ornithopter didn't gain any experience from it...
 
Repeatable CTD. Just click EoT red button. Latest Git version thru Git desktop updated/pulled yesterday. Checked for any updates today twice, none so far. Using FinalRelease to play.

EDIT: This is a long running Civic Test game that is just now getting into the Civics that I want to see in action, ie real game play. It will help me "tweak" this Era and later Eras as I have not had a game get this far before without a save gaming breaking occurrence in the past 3 years.

Started a new game thru git FinalRelease on Blitz. Already CTding at EoT. Click EoT red Button or click enter key will CTD.

Canaanite Religion needs more specific buildings. It only has basic Shrine, Temple, Monastery and Cathedral. Not a single Wonder building. Makes it a bad choice compared to other religions.

Yup, now CTD happens, so its bug with user settings somewhere

I deleted the User Settings folder and restarted both games. Played a couple of turns on each. So good to go for now.

Found and fixed the problem, was a bug in BBAI logging, which is why deleting the UserSettings folder avoided the crash for you; as BBAI logging is off by default.

Edit: you can copy in your old UserSettings folder again on latest master commit.

New CTD. Updated/Pulled latest commits thru Gitdesktop. Put my old User Settings back into Caveman2Cosmos. Played quite a few turns on newest game until now.

Click EoT button.

It didn't crash for me, used your User Settings folder, that was uploaded here.
 
I made some minor changes in BUG after I reinserted my Old User Settings. Mostly to do with Automated Worker and tiles. Not that I ever automate my workers.

Here is the User Folder now being used based off the old one.

Removed old User Settings folder and let game make new one. Did Re-Calc at game load up. Went into BUG made changes to setting I normally use. Have played 5 turns so far with no problem.

Must still be a User Setting bug in my old settings.

Not going to load Up Civic test gam until I'm sure I have a stable User Settings folder. I don't subscribe to the default User Folder that the Game makes now. But if my old tried and true settings are now busted..... guess I'll have to adapt....
 
Hmm, it's crashing because there's apparently a build defined in xml that doesn't have an improvement...

Most likely it's a route that somehow got into the mix for some reason.

Ok, fixed the second CTD too, happened in the exact same codeline, just this time due to a slightly different reason. I commented out the BBAI logging that caused both the first and second CTD this time, it needs a bigger change to work as intended.
 
After applying the latest SVN, the Unit Production Tab shows an anomaly: There is an empty space now where the first unit to produce would be located, it even has a tooltip description of sorts. The other production tabs, Building and Wonder, are normal.

Apparently that unit wasn't duplicate, idk why it showed up as duplicated, when I searched for unit defines

I'll need to update its build actions, as it appears to be forgotten.
