It isnt THAT shocking considering the vanity and self obsession of America and Americans. If this had even happened in Mexico, Americans wouldnt give a ****. If this happened in Canada, maybe, but only if it was in the anglo sections.

Perhaps not, but I have a feeling the Mexicans or Canadians would care. Calling Americans "self-obsessed" and "vain" for being shocked by a tragedy like this is rude bordering on insensitive.
