I propose to the Honorable Senate, a motion to disband the Warriors and Footmen and place the money gained from it under the King's Supervision to purchase things that he sees fit."

"I have no objections and support this motion indefinitely and with all my will. However, i would like to ask the Senate to allow me with half our army to guard the border with the Davanian Army which currently holds the forests in the Dwarven Domains. I fear that the Davanians may attempt to once more flee through our lands and violate our neutrality."

The Oreon talks amongst each other for a while.

"Your Excellency, the Oreon will allow you to command such a force, but points out that the King does not require our approval to defend our borders and interests. However, the Oreon would like to ask the King if he has chosen yet a side for Catalia to fight on. As the seers exclaims that Catalia will determine the fate of the war..."

"Catalia will fight those that fight Catalia, and until some arise that does that, Catalia shall fight no one. In the duration of my absence of my capitol, the Oreon are to be in charge of the Nation and run the domestic affairs. Good Day."

GENERAL NEWS :


DAVANIAN FRONT:

Hopes become high when Catalia declares it’s support of it’s Davanian brothers. Nearly half the Catalian army not counting it’s horsemen arrive in the Davanian held forest along with long wagon trains of food and supplies. For only a few days all seemed well, until scouts saw half the Dwarven army marching towards the forest just as Davanians were preparing to leave. They quickly came to their posts and prepared for one hell of a battle. As the dwarves got within firing range, Catalian troops suddenly attacked their Davanian allies. Within minutes the Catalians were slaughtering the Davanian troops inside the forest, during the confusion 3 aid-du-camps to the Catalian general are killed along with the Davanian second in command. Soon Davanian forces distanced themselves form Catalian ones and formed a new line of battle in the forest.

With the Dwarves approaching from the south and the Catalian surrounding them from the north, east, and west, the Davanian general knew this would be his last stand. He rallied his troops to this final stand. For 4 hours they fought on all sides. Finally he was shot through the heart with an arrow and lay over dead. The few pockets of resistence surrendered and were taken as slaves back to the dwarven mines.

Catalia: 500 footmen, 1000 elven archers
Davania: 1250 Elven Archers, 250 raiders, 900 warriors

Catalia then launched an invasion of Davania proper with the king leading the way. 3000 Catalian troops would meet the remains of the entire Davanian forces of just 2400. Catalian troops with the king as the lead met with the Davanian troops as they rushed north when no signs of Dwarven movement were noted. There would be no Dwarven attack either. The exhausted Davanian army which had been forced march half of the way finally took up residence in the port city where Catalian troops were about to attack in only 2 days. They had beat them to the punch. Unfortunently the entirety of the Davanian army now lies within these walls.

ILLORIAN FRONT:

With the king taken a sudden illness that would leave him paralyzed for almost two years, his advisors took sudden command of the nation. First off, they began a rapid armament of the nation. They then realized the west was lost a prepared the defenses against the Dwarves. First the archers took positions along the forts. They waited for a dwarven attack that did take place.

Seeing as how no one was coming for them, the Illorians trapped in the city tried on last desperate rally. Knowing full well that they’d be leaving the city behind and defenseless, they had no choice. Running low on supplies they would be forced to surrender. The Illorian forces quickly overwhelmed the 1000 goblin raiders on the south side of the city and made their desperate attempt west.

The Lost Tribe: -500 goblin raiders

The Dwarves hoping once and for all to crush the Illorian lines attack in full force against the stronghold of Kollona. Knowing about the attack before hand, Illoria was able to move their entire army of 250 Warriors and 1350 Illorian Archers and 1250 raiders to the stronghold against the Dwarves of 2000 warriors, 1000 archers, 1000 raiders, and 500 horsemen. The Dwarves besieged the stronghold for several days but the impatient commander launched the attack. The gates of the stronghold began to buckle under the battering ram as the archers fired down upon it and the other Dwarven troops. In the horizon the flag of Illoria is seen. Troops from the west have arrived! 1350 Illorian Archers prepared to beat back the Dwarves. With the introduction of these new forces the Dwarves have no choice but to retreat...for now.

AMORFAL FRONT:

News of the fall of Allori reached the Allori army quickly. Upon hearing this they immediately stopped marching towards Amorfal along with the other Skaven. The General in command sent a message to the three nations to ask what will become of them. The majori responded with the leaders being tried and executed and the soldiers returning home. The Davanians would jail the leaders while the soldiers returned home. The islandi made the most promising appeal, they would allow the general a paid albeit lower position in the Islandi army along with his officers. The soldiers would be free to return home as they wished. 2 months after the fall of Allori, Islandi ships arrived off the shore of the lost tribe and picked up the soldiers. This would be a huge blow to the upcoming battle.

The Goblins began to push against amorfal before the skaven allies could arrive. Amorfal scouts on horseback are able to keep track of the army as they march menacingly across the countryside. A new flag standard replaces the individual tribal flags of old. War drums beat nat every hour of the day. Torches are lit throughout the day and night. The force would be impossible not to spot. Amorfal forces are able to stay one step ahead of Goblin scouts.

Finally the humans launch the attack. At the crack of dawn, the humans launch an attack on the goblin force. Although with orders do never be on the defensive the goblins are caught off guard. Their use of war drums and torches make easy targets rather than demoralizing tools. With the goblin scouts dead and not expected to report for another hour, the goblins were unaware of the attack. The goblins were however able to form up into a line of battle quickly and would not be caught in transition. Most of the Amorfal army of 5500 warriors, 1500 archers, 50 raiders and 950 human horsemen were now attacking only half of the goblin invasion force of 4000 Goblin Raiders and 100 Goblin Horsemen.

The humans launch their raiders as skirmishers and battle the goblin forces for less than 5 minutes before retreating. Then the king lead charge down the center with 5500 warriors following behind. To each flank was 500 human horsemen. The goblin line was overwhelmed. Demand for goblin blood was high and the humans hunted them down mercilessly until the sun was set. An entire day was devoted for goblin blood and vengeance. Little made it out of the battle.

The Lost Tribe: -3500 goblin raiders, -75 goblin horsemen

When news reached the other invasion force codename blue, they would destroy all in their path. The goblin general was on a quest for human blood. He would attack the human port city which he was planned to attack, but now he would destroy it. His resistence was 5,200 human warriors, 150 archers, and 50 human horsemen. They were no match. In retribution for the battle that had taken place just a week earlier, he gave no mercy to the human forces. They were crushed under his ruthless attacks. His forces continued to hunt them all the way to the port city itself. There the few survivors seek refuge.

The lost Tribe: -1200 goblin raiders

Tarak forces were left to repulse the skaven incursion that had finally arrived. The Tarak forces begin to harass the skaven forces and destroy their ever smaller supply wagons. The skaven forces are forced to live off the land and many begin to die of starvation. Luck is on their side as discipline is kept and they are nearing the city. If the skaven are unable to take this city, or at least score a major victory they may soon surrender.

Tarakfal: 50 human horsemen, 50 archers

TARAKFAL FRONT

The Tarak king sends his new royal guard of footmen to the homes of both dukes who seem bent on civil war. The problem presently seems to be stable, but the king won’t be able to keep them under house arrest forever.

MANFIA (a.k.a where the orcs, goblins and skaven are):

The Imperial Orcs have agreed to buy the ability to make crossbows from Majori Skavi in return for the Majori Skavi to produce new armors. The exchange was done secretly and was only recently announced. The king of Majori Skavi has further increased his power by being the sole owner of the armor technology in his nation and with the footmen corps at his command. The Imperial Orcs have linked all their colonies by land to the Imperial homeland.

After 4 years, Coren ships are able to finally arrive on the northeastern island(although on Coren maps located to the far northwest). A small village is set up by the 500 settlers. The 500 warriors sent with them scout far and wide with the help of 40 galleys. They have discovered a forest inland and the ships have found most landmarks found by early Illorian explorers. Opes are high that this may be a whole new continent for the orcs.

GREAT SKAVEN WAR:

With three skaven nations pitted against three skaven nations the Great Skaven War has begun. Not ever since the beginning of the break up of Majori Skavi have all skaven been at war. It what was to be a time of SKaven unity against the goblins has turned out to be one of their worst times of division. Skaven armies prepared to march against skaven armies.

First of which was Islandi forces appearing with their entire armada near the Allori port city. Seeing this powerful flotilla the merchants quickly sailed out and met with Admiral Derina who would lead the attack on the city. For the price of two gold from the Islandi treasury, the port quickly opened up and surrendered to the Islandi military. Islandi began to march south towards Fanafar but stopped just shy of the border. They had completed their task of taking western Allori and would consolidate their gains.

To the west Majori forces were now sieging the Allori capital. Inside was 4/5 of the Allori military, 2000 skaven warriors and 600 archers. They all manned the walls and prepared for the worst. Suddenly the siege engines that the capital feared arrived. 5 catapults pounded the walls of the city for 3 days and nights. These early catapults were rudimentary and one broke down, but they were effective. On the fourth day, the walls finally collapsed to the Majori army, 50 archers lost in the collapse. With a hole in the defense, the entirety of half the majori army swept into the city. The blood bath then began. The skaven first lost the Allori Temple of the Gods after several hours of fighting there. They then fought bravely at the home of the richest merchant in the entire nation but failed. The final stand was made in the marketplace where 900 Allori warriors were slaughtered after surrendering. The city was quickly looted for everything it was worth, only one district was untouched. It was that of Follonar. 2 gold was pillaged from the city after it was left in a burning mess. The remains of the Allori army surrendered just 4 days later when the message arrived in the Majori generals hands. Allori was now to be divided between the three powers that it declared war against.

Majori: 500 skaven warriors, 200 archers, 150 raiders, 100 crossbowmen, 30 footmen, 1 catapult.
Allori: 2000 skaven warriors, 600 archers, allori independence.

Majori forces led by their king continue their attack against the Minori. The king decided to by pass the city in his way to make his way to the capital. The Minori meanwhile fearful and unknowing of the true size of the Majori army which they estimated to be anywhere between 3000 and 5000(it was 2300). They figured they would attack when the time was right. This was a mistake however as they could have easily destroyed them king’s forces and now with reinforcements of veterans from Allori coming the fight for minori survival would be much harder.

Fanafar decides to go on the offensive before they are invaded. Their gamble pays off. The Fanafar forces equal that of Dolori but they are more coordinated. Dolori decides not to go on a large battle but send a dispatchment to fortify a town to gage the power of Fanafar forces. The force is completely destroyed. Fanafar now threatens a Dolori city.

GOBLIN-ORC WAR

With word that Nanmar forces are on heir way, new Finif generals retreat from the front. Why should they fight in this coming battle? Nanmar forces watch as Finif troops abandon the front. They know they are fighting the war for Finif now, not with it. Still they go on. Glory can be theirs if they succeed! Nanmar troops march in the east to save the city there. 1100 Orc Footmen, 1000 warriors, 400 raiders, and 100 horsemen match up against 1/3 of the goblin army. That’s 100 warriors, 300 archers, 2300 raiders and 150 horsemen.

The battle began in the middle of the day soon after the sun had reached it’s peak. The goblin army laying siege formed up into a double line formation, when one line was broken the other was there to take it’s place. The orcs meanwhile lined up on threes, the first two would engage and the third would replace a line when it had worn itself out. It wouldn’t be needed. The first two lines smashed into the Goblin army and within 45 minutes had completely broken the center and left flank of the goblin forces. The siege was lifted and the city was freed.

Nanmar: 150 orc footmen
Tribus: 500 goblin raiders, 20 warriors, 50 archers, 50 horsemen

With this news, an amphibious operation was launched to free the western city. The Orcs once again defeated the goblins protecting the city and began to march into Goblin lands.

Nanmar: 175 orc footmen
Tribus: 450 goblin raiders, 100 warriors, 50 archers, 30 horsemen

Finif forces meanwhile regrouped In the middle of the now Goblin bulge. Before they could attack however, the last of the 1/3 goblin army attacked them. Caught off guard, the entire Finif army was forced to quickly get into the line of battle. The Orcs formed up with 1000 orc footmen in front, 1500 archers behind and 225 horsemen on each flank. The goblins would swarm with 2300 raiders with 150 horseman leading the charge. Supporting them were 300 archers. As the horsemen pierced a small gap into the orc lines, thousands of goblin raiders tried to fill it. The orc horseman attempted to flank the goblins but were repulsed. In the end the finif forces were forced to retreat before being utterly destroyed.

Finif: -400 orc footmen, -500 archers, -150 horsemen
Tribus: -600 goblin raiders, -50 horsemen

With this the goblins have successfully captured an entire orc city. Finif forces are on the retreat back to their capital an now expect Nanmar to finish the war for them. The goblins still have a trick up their sleeve as they have received armor from their northern brethren.

STORY:

In Majori Skavi, the King hears the news that the land has been returned from tarakfal, glorious news! Part of the contract was the land would be signed over to the king himself in return for war with the Goblins. He also received siege weapon technology and naval warfare technology. Using this along with the great thinkers in his nation, the king’s thinkers came up with something incredible. Attributed to Domman of Gaffo, the crossbow is the most powerful hand held weapon to date. Although not as long range as the normal bow, or as fast firing, the crossbow makes up in it’s simplicity. With as little as a week of training, a crossbow man could be deadlier than an archer. With this also came great defensive value. The crossbow has quickly became a main weapon in the Majori arsenal.

The king of Majori has also been pressing for more political power. Using the royal coffers, the king has bought large tracks of land across the nation from the ruling merchant class nearly bankrupting him. He has also used his money to gain the allegiance of the new crossbow corps and the rights to the weapon. With this he planned to launch a civil war on the merchants and gain complete control. This was not to be when the Minori and Allori declared war against Majori’s allies,. Seeing this as the perfect opportunity to gain more power, the king personally left to oversee the war to gain prestige and the trust of the army.

About as likely as England allying with Iraq and invading Spain today.

I'm not interested in playing a game where racial ties are completely, utterly and stupidly ignored. There's something called nation background, ya know, and it's meant to stop elves allying with dwarves against other elves.

I quit. This isn't remotely interesting or fun.
