Alright everybody. We all know that Memphus has controversy around him and he admits that himself, but this is the Welcome thread. As far as I am concerned he is very welcome to be a part of this team and I think he will be a great asset. Let's keep this thread reserved to welcome new AMAZONs not debate current ones. If you must go over this stuff please do it in another thread or via PMs.

I don't think asking the questions make you look bad and I'm not saying the questions shouldn't be asked. I just think that this thread is not the place for them.

For those who still have questions about the last demogame:

All forums are open from the last demogame so that anyone can read them. I've read many of the threads from that game and several of our players were in that game and have read even more. If you have questions about where to specifically look for something, just send one of us a PM and we can probably point you in the right direction so you don't have to read the whole thing. We can learn a lot from the last demogame so if you have time, read through some of the team threads.

Memphus is on our team - nice he is stellar player. The controversy stems from a string of near impossible victories for team Sancta under the leadership of Generalissimo Memphus. Hence allegations of unfair play. Of course the glorious Kazakh armies still whopped em in the end though!

But it is a new game and his skills will be greatly appreciated.

First of all Welcome Memphus!

Second, I personally asked Memphus to join our team, just as I did with many otherAMAZONs. We can't do without a player of his skill and expertise especially as we have recently slid from first to fourth place in score.

Memphus has proven himself capable in many areas, including Demographics reading and Wartime Unit management... and I plan on taking full advantage of Memphus' talents in this game. Including inviting Memphus to be a turnplayers whenever he feels so inclined. All AMAZONs are equal! Plus we can always use more turnplayers.

Finally... the allegations against Memphus in the last game amounted to little more than a bunch of whining and sore losering ... which was ultimately irrelevant given the result of the game as damnrunner pointed out.

So I have 3 questions for Memphus... do have any thoughts on the current demographics? Would you consider joining our list of turnplayers? And what kind of beer would you like at your welcome ceremony?

I was happy with the in game investigation that did not find any wrong doing. I was just giving the context.

My only regret from the game is that we never got the see our Kazakh redcoats actually lay waste to Sancta's armies.

This definitely belongs in the Turnplayer thread and not here, but it is a good question. We are one turn 39 right now, with T37 and T38 having been completed.
