Hi CivFans,

Although I jumped in late in Civilization I, I remain a fun/fan(atic) of the series all the way to V.

Hindered by the fact that I never found it appealing to stack a lot of units in one tile, I preferred peaceful game strategies until the tactical possibilities of Civ V turned me into a warmonger!

As time passed.. wait.. let me first finish just one more turn..

I got civ IV with my brother last christmas. I absolutely loved it. Now i am seeking ways to improve my play.

I also own Civ V, but i don´t like it as much.

Hello there everyone.

I have been aware of Civilization for a tiny bit, my first game being Revolution for the 360. I also got V a while ago. I plan to get the second expansion pack for it soon. But I love the games, and I hope I can stay here for longer than 2 posts.

Hi all, a fun of the series since Civ NET and peaceful leader till Civ V. Seems tactical battles suit me better than big numbers of stacked units.

You require 30 days and 30 posts to get a custom 70x70 avatar, and 100 days and 100 posts for a 100x100 avatar. Otherwise, it's just the standard ones you can chose from, unfortunately.

I am Caanite. I joined this forum because I have had a lack of forum activity for a month. And also because I love Civ. I started playing Civ 5 about Feb 2012 which I think is amazing and one of the best games I'd played. However that was after BNW had come out. I had 2 games of civ before BNW. 1 was a defeat and another a victory. But then it fell out of my priorities (which were MC and Skyrim) and i forgot about it until BNW appeared in a preview of a gaming magazine I'd subscribed to. So when it came out I bought it and, BOOM, started playing non stop. I came across this forum at first looking for good strategies for my ganes. I found some here and from about a month ago became my #1 source of civ knowledge. That is my introduction and I hope this community is welcoming

I recently got Civ V and The gold edition upgrade. I kinda wanted to learn how to mod when i came up with a bunch of ideas but had no way to create them. So i went to steam's pages and found myself someone who had modded b4 to help me. He suggested i go here. And im here so now i intend to invade your forum and cause a revolt and overthrow the Us government with my newly found geek army.

I'm a 33y old swede. I have played about 500 hours of Civilization 5 and it still only gets more entertaining.

I enjoy the exploration part and prefer to play random map, random size. On emperor I beat the game with any civ but on immortal Im still screwed...
