While Leoreth is doing great stuff with 1.18 and the new map, let's talk about what will be after its realization.

What do you want to be put in 1.19 version ?

Dinosaur civ.

Decolonization of africa.
I support the idea of introducing representation of Africa in one of the next updates after the map update. Africa can be filled with gameplay before the era of colonization, and also implement the mechanics of the African race for the European powers, so that starting in 1870 (or with the discovery of some technology) they could incredibly quickly capture everyone and everything there. Decolonization is also important so that these same European powers could easily lose their cities on the African continent with the possible reappearance of those civilizations that were there before the African race.

Let's introduce in this thread the idea of a nomadic civ.
People are often talking about it. Now we can develop it.

I don't think we can actually implement something like this. The whole point of nomadic civilization is, well, being nomadic. It doesn't depand on cities. While Civilization as game is centred around cities. You need cities to build units, get money, research new techs, just to do anything. To properly introduce nomadic civilization you need to develop a whole bunch of new mechanics and somehow to make them work with existing ones. I mean, it would be easier to develop a completely new game.

Perhaps some "nomadic peoples" can be represented by a few undeveloped cities in a core area, while they send their armies according to UHV.
I would especially recommend implementing the Huns that way, as they could pose a threat and counter measure to Byzantium and Rome.

I expect playable Königsberg Civ.

Nomadic civ concept can be interesting, because we could add to it the Camp concept from Gengis Khan mod in Warlords.

Nomadic civs couldn't found any cities, but they would have a UU that is a camp. Some examples :

Iroquois : Kana-da

Apaches : Teepee

Inuit : Igloo

Celts : Oppidum
(Even though they're already going to be playable as a sedentary civ)

Camps would be able to do the same things as a city can do.
- but no workers -

They would also have no culture, and if all your camps are into a cultural area, you lose the game.

That would make nomadic civs attack sedentary civs in order to survive.

Every update after this should just be an even bigger map until it reaches the size of the observable universe somwehere around v1.42
