What are the worse bands in history?

Metallica is probably the most absolute waste of disk space ever.
So which part of Metallica are you averse to? The rocking and rolling all night part? Or the partying every day part?

Worst. Quote. Ever. I'll leave it at that.

You know what the worst band ever is? One of my favorite bands: Crass.

They suck a lot. But I love em and still listen to them after all these years.

If you just passingly mention "Master of Puppets" to me, I just have a seizure. They are THAT bad.

So which part of Metallica are you averse to? The rocking and rolling all nigh part? Or the partying every day part?

I am adverse to the whole "music" portion of their sultry, unoriginal and totally boring act.

As for a bad band

what are they called.. it's the band that recycles old songs and makes them into new ones.. all their stuff sounds alike

uhm.. uhm..

NICKELBACK

It really took me 20 minutes to remember their damn name.. I think I blocked it out.

Nope, those guys are great.

I would like to nominate U2.

You almost became the first person that didnt make one too many racist comments (or homophobic, cant stand those either) on my ignore list, missy. ;)

If you were to nominate them at the time of pop, sure, i would agree, they sucked.

however, Joshua Tree, War, and Achtung Baby are some of the best rock albums ever made.

26. The Joshua Tree, U2
That's right, the TWENTY-SIXTH best album of all time.

Also, again, Pop REALLY sucked. But How to dismantle an atomic bomb was really good, and they are back on track.

I would recommend you listen to the following songs before completing judgement (long list):

OVERUSED BUT FOR A REASON:

One
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Vertigo
Beautiful Day
With or without you
I still haven't found what I'm looking for
Miss Sarajevo
Pride (in the name of love)

OTHER REALLY GOOD SONGS:

City of Blinding Lights
Miracle Drug
Walk On
Even better than the real thing
The Fly
Bullet the Blue Sky
Where the streets have no name
One Tree Hill
Red Light
Two Hearts Beat as One
New Years' Day
MLK

and more. the list could continue, but I will leave it there. Those are a wide variety of songs, appealing to a wide variety of tastes.

don't assume they suck because you believe bono is preachy.

---

also, to you who said nirvana:

In Bloom
Smells Like Teen Spirit
Lithium
Lake of Fire
Silver
their rendition of david bowie's the man who sold the world

and you need no more to be refuted wrong, though there is.

I agree with nickelback, and nominate fall out boy.

C'mon, didn't any of you guys watch Beavis & Butthead? If you did, you would know the answer:

Spoiler :
Grim Reaper

Smashing Pumpkins, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, O.A.R., The Police, System of a Down, and many, many more which didn't make it onto my iPod.

Nirvana is awesome. Got the MTV Unplugged DVD, put it on surround sound, and it was killer.
Bad bands:
Nickelback (Thank you warpus)
Three Days Grace
Breaking Benjamin
Good Charlotte
A few other of these new "punk" bands
EVERY SONG SOUNDS LIKE THE SAME OLD CRAP. powerchordpowerchord my life sucks powerchordpowerchord I want money wawapedal

Country
Whatever that pig squealing crap is, I don't need to list names

Oh, and Red Door spoke blasphemy :)

Metallica is probably the most absolute waste of disk space ever.

I only agree with you becasue posers were late to their scene and a crybaby Larz Adrich crying before Congress to ban Napster while hes almost a Billionaire back in 2001 is LAME
