The worst bands ever are ones none of us will ever have heard of. They just do not have what it takes to even get noticed by a promoter.

Take me and my friends in the 4th grade who tried to pretend we were KISS with air guitars and make up on our faces. Yeah, we probably ranked up there with the worst of the worst.
 
I don't like U2 either.
Slipknot and Slayer are awful as well.

I actually quite liked the Spice Girls though (lice up your spife!), so who am I to talk?
 
Good Charlette(and anyother 'punk' band since 2000, Limp whatever, any rap(cept for enimen) and country, kiss, and....well any band that I don't listen to really. 99.9999999999% of every song in the world can be classified as either A: Crap or B: Effing Crap.

To quote RvB

"I hate the bands that you like!"



And why bother trying to defend the bands that I like? People are already set in their ways and there is no possible way to change that, so why bother?

I don't like most of Nirvana's song (SLTS included), but their MTV Unplugged album is great. I still to listen to it occasionally. That album is reason enough for them not to be considered "the worst".

AC/DC is one of the greatest bands ever.

I'll nominate Neil Young as one of the worst. Boring songs, unbearable voice. Most people with a similar musical taste as me love the guy, but I can't stand him.
 
Oh, and Weird Al. Richard Cheese is sooo better than him.

Thank you for pointing this out, otherwise I would've not remembered. Ace of Base are truly the crappiest band ever! :nuke: In Flames, Gallows (apparently they are respected by critics), Sonic Youth and Slayer are really bad, too. I've been forced to listen their music while playing Guitar Hero.
 
The biggest problem with U2, Metallica, Nirvana, isn't that they're bad as such but more overplayed.

I prefer Megadeth over Metallica and Alice in Chains over Nirvana.
