What are your redeeming qualities?

I retain most information I am exposed to. Everyone loves me at pub quizzes.

This is true for me as well. I'm sure there are many other good qualities about me, but, not to sound melodramatic, I don't see them.

I think I'm fairly generous. I don't have much trouble giving things up, or giving nice gifts..Mostly because I don't like very much. A beer and a computer and I'm happy.

I can see both sides of an argument pretty well but that is just because I'm indecisive.

I do my best to be both helpful and entertaining.

I'm very kind and courteous, and treat everyone with respect, even if I feel they don't deserve it.

I have a good sense of empathy, and can help people if they are troubled.

I have a strong work ethic and always strive to go above and beyond, and also complete my work early.

I have strong morals and always strive to meet them, even though I occasionally fall short. When I do fall short, I try to analyze what went wrong or why I failed, and work to do better instead of lowering my standards.

I am smart and good at thinking up creative ways to solve problems.

I am very loyal to my friends and family.

Well, a more serious attempt I guess:

-I'm funny.
-I'm smart, well-written/spoken and well-educated.
-I'm tall, well built and have big balls.
-I'm considerate and at least make an attempt at thinking of other people.
-I'm easygoing and patient.
-Many people say I'm good looking.
-I conduct myself well in other people's houses.
-When I'm passionate/interested in something, I work very hard at it (however the opposite is true if I'm not interested).
-I'm a good listener.
-I'm empathetic.
-I'm hygienic.

It's unfashionable for historians to draw conclusions these days so you are well fit for a job in that sector if you so desire!

I did think of one. Theres been a few times when I said something that seemed obvious to me and everyone calls it awesome because it completely broke the other persons argument. I wouldnt know what to call this though.
Depending on context, you should call it "logic" or "common sense."

I keep my word at least 95% of the time (try for 100% on ultra serious matters). I entertain my friends. I'm a good & patient father. I'm creative. I'm good with people (best compliment I got in the last couple years was this guy from another forum I met in RL who said "Damn dude, for someone who wastes so much time online you actually are pretty normal/socially adept").

Also, I'm nice, sometimes to a fault. And I really care about the world which isn't really a popular attitude these days (since the 80's really :undecide: ).

I'm fairly compassionate, understanding, and empathetic.

Whether these qualities are undermined by my impatience and high expectations may be up for debate. :)

That is an awesome redeeming quality.

For my part, eh, I am no worse than anyone else, and no better. I do what I can to improve myself and I try not to injure those around me. What else can be expected?

Loyal. Try to keep my word all the time, usually succeed. Keep my obligations to my loved ones. I believe we are obligated to the people who love us.
Other people find me entertaining. I guess I'm funny.
Friendly. Used to be shy but got over it.
Try to be pleasant to everyone.
Don't drink, smoke or take drugs to excess. Actually don't smoke at all and drink very little. No drugs for entertainment.

I have more faults, but that wasn't the question.

-Drinking
-Not making aspie lists

1) I'm a socialist.
2) I'm generous.
3) I'm well spoken (well most of the time).
4) I'm tolerant.
5) I'm a Man Utd fan.
6) I play Civ.

I think it best in social situations to make my redeeming qualities, if any, known through my words and actions, and perhaps through the vocal appreciation of others.

The only time I'll boast is in job applications, through necessity rather than desire.
