No, I mean what was a "flash in the pan" about the book

#nes nao for a lengthy dissertation.

I just finished a class on modern Asia which was cool but I'm a little sick of reading how China is going to take over the world, so I decided to read...The Great Upheaval: America and the birth of the modern world, 1788-1800 by Jay Winik. Don't even know what its about it sounds good don't it.

What did you read?

Ah Maori-are-the-result-of-Polynesians-raping-Chinese-concubines Gavin Menizes.

"Island in the Sea of time" SM Stirling.

I finished Naked Lunch earlier today. What the crap did I just read. Burroughs has some pretty good prose, when its comprehensible in between the orgy, sodomy and heroin.

Instead of returning to Anna Karenina, I'm moving on to Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury. I've finished the first two chapters and I like it a lot already.

I just finished Plato's Podcasts. I want to read Jack London's Iron Heel, but I'm still recovering from a weekend of graduation preparation, activity, and celebrations...I'll probably go with The Art of Happiness in a Troubled World, an interview with the 14th Dalai Lama.

It's not all that bad. Pretty good actually.

I can't stand Dickens. Great Expectations was possibly one of my most excruciating reads ever. Personal taste.

Christopher Tyerman - God's War

How is Mass Effect 2? I heard they made some changes to the gameplay?
